No See Darvas was in the 1950's and Wyckoff in the 1860s for many years of trading i never read Wyckoff but I continued to trade in a similar way to Wyckoff but I needed validation of my methods. In the thread, i know it's hard work as I am a trader not an educator but all the bread crumbs are here. however with the knowledge, you grow from following the bread crumbs I will let you know now whats will make the difference from success or failure!

1. Know what you want from the market!

You have to know what you want are you scalping the accumulation range or holding for a breakout. Not sure won't work so know what you want from the market .

2. You must use a stop loss or hedging strategy

3. Market retrace so always be prepared for massive fall

4 some times accumulation is distribution so don't overextend yourself in a rally so you don't get caught holding the hot potato

5 Take profit when you want to and if it breaks up more after you take profit don't get pissed and do something stupid! as you know what you want from the market then Always wait for quality entry and never swat a trade

6 4 hour ranges work the best in forex so trade the 4-hour range as in UJ chart below, highlighted by red box for 4 h ranges

What you do is for example mark 4 hour range lets say on dxy and the eur/usd

wait for dxy to hit 4 hour support and euro to hit 4 hour resistance then sell euro
