May I ask how you calculate the COT combined data for the commercial spec based on the CFTC data?
Im trying to backtest and get the numbers into excel but cant figure it out.. =/

In fact COT comb is just taken from here http://www.cftc.gov/marketreports/co...ssed/index.htm (here you can find the txt files with the exact data - http://www.cftc.gov/files/dea/history/deahistfo2016.zip and history here http://www.cftc.gov/files/dea/histor..._1995_2015.zip) So in fact you don't need to calc anything

Hey folks! New update is available
Release notes:
- Some bugs were fixed
- ISM indicators are temporarily unavailable - there are some technical issues with ISM data provider so we are currently checking alternative sources

In the nearest future I'm planning to introduce new bundles of indicators - Energy, Bonds & Treasuries etc. And I'm also planning to add economic data for Great Britain, Germany and couple of other EU countries.

No, it gets the data from my server so it needs to be online. But it's the major point of it - it's always up to date and no need of manual manipulations of any kind.

Getting the Commodities seem simple enough. I guess its the "Futures-and-Options Combined Reports:" you are looking at? And getting the COT by calculating the difference between "Comm_Positions_Long_All" and "Comm_Positions_Short_All" using the formula: COT index = 100 x (current Net - minimum net)/(maximum net-minimum net)
Am I correct so far?

I´m struggling with getting the right data for the currencies though, I cant find the commercial side in the data..? =/

Hm... regarding getting the right data - I presume you can easily use the links to CFTC website I've posted above (yes, I'm using Futures-and-Options in my calculations but in general it doesn't really matter - you can use only Futures-Only for example and it should not affect your calculations).
Where are you getting your data from right now?

Hi guys, I've extended the package with new update - UPDATE 2016/10/16:

UNITED KINGDOM: New indicators for UK economy

As usual package is 100% integrated in MT4 and you can use all indicators the same way as regular ones. NinjaTrader indicators will be delivered later.

OK, let's go steps by step.
1. In case if you have Win7 or earlier you'll need to install .NET framework - here is the link
2. Did you copied all DLLs to correct locations? Please find the steps and video here - http://www.darkmindfx.com/mt4downloa...t4instructions - please check the steps after the video

UPDATE: could you please also download the package once again - I've just submitted one small update which could help.

It will be added shortly - right now I've added only support for 30 financial instruments - like currecncies and indexes. But I'm planning to add commodities as well. So stay tuned

Thanks bunnys! It's just the beginning - I'm planning to cover as much data as possible. So my next move will be to add the commodities to the COT report. So don't go anywhere

UPDATE 2016/11/14

Hi guys! The new update is here. It doesn't add any new indicators BUT it solves the inconveniences most of you have faced when trying to install the package of my indicators. But no more copying files back and forth. Right now there is a standard setup wizard which will guide you thru all the steps and performs the installation itself. So in general it will take you around 60 seconds to download and install all new versions of it.

Sure, I can help with that I've noticed that sometimes the platforms are installed in a little bit custom way - so please drop me a line at support(at)darkminsfx(dot)com - and I'll send you the ZIP package with all the indicators and instructions on how to set them up manually.

Hi guys, the major is here! So now there is a complete support for Commitment Of Traders data from CFTC -
250+ instruments including financials and commodities

But that's not all! I've also added the support of one more trading platform so now you can download the plug-ins for MetaTrader, NinjaTrader and cTrader terminals.
For all of these terminals you'll get the COT Report indicators (250+ "classis" ones in form of Commercials/Non-Commercials/Speculators and 30+ for financials in for of Dealers / Asset Managers / Lev. Money).

Thanks to your feedback guys and specifically one from Sabino Martiradonna the indicators for MetaTrader were enhanced so now you don't need to remember the COT market codes - you can just select them from drop-down.
