Yeah, he should be sorry.

Good news is he has a new sponsor in Pfizer. They are going to make a new drug called the Tiagra, good for 18 holes

Bernanke says the tightening in the discount rate isn't a tightening.

Translating: it is a tightening.

Mortgage approvals down considerably, coupled with hitting complex resistance in a down trend. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bit of stop hunting involved as well. Every man and his brother must have been holding shorts. I know I'm breathing again as it retraced higher than I expected.

Still looks excessive for a bad "mortgage approvals"...

Almost matching last week's slump from the Fed's move...

A German man on the run from police was given away by his own dog, which revealed its master's hiding place by wagging its tail while standing next to the small cupboard he was cowering in, authorities said on Monday.

Never underestimate British housing figures. A lot of Britain's "wealth" is stored in owner occupied homes, unlike Europe where the majority are happy to rent or where home ownership rules are very different.

However, the release coincided with the price bursting into heavy resistance which, I believe, enhanced the effect. I did not trade the news release because I was already long term short this pair.
