I checked on your strategy quicky. Gonna read it more carefully another time. But I like it simple like that...

When you're using techs enough to allow a monkey to fly a 747, there is something really wrong going on.

Jan. 3 (Bloomberg) -- The dollar fell to the lowest in a month against the euro, extending losses after reports showing euro-region money supply held at the fastest pace in 28 years and a greater-than-expected decline in German unemployment.

Let's listen to the jobs report. Could be a laugher. With a robust report however, we could ride up to 219 again on the GJ

I was thinking about it. A bad figure can spur the cut sentiment, boosting the stock market and the carry trades...

This is going to be a tough trade, imo. That "bad news is good news" kind of trade

Talking about jobs...

After geting burned by billions of dollars in losses from the mortgage meltdown, financial giants like Merrill Lynch and Citigroup are gearing up for major job cuts in the new year.

Merrill Lynch Merrill Lynch & Co Inc could start announcing layoffs as soon as Thursday, CNBC has learned. The jobs cuts, which may be made over several weeks, could total up to 10% of those employees who are not in investment banking or brokerage operations, or about 1,600 positions. The credit and bond departments are most at risk.

I think that these are not the numbers that wall street was looking for. These numbers will make the Fed think twice about going for .50% cut, which is what the big boys want along with the fed discount rate down to around 3.75%. we might a see continuation of the sell off on wall street today. (Imvho)

BOE makes their decision on the 10th of Jan. Most likely a cut by .25% but who knows, they might surprise everyone.

Not so fast brother, Imvho, these are not the numbers that wall street was looking, this only gives the fed only the more of an excuse to cut as little or none at all.

GU still in a downtrend. Don't expect much from it. If we get a better than expected number tomorrow, expect GU to continue it's fall till the BOE decision. If, the BOE tightened lending standards to curb borrowing the BOE could possibly cut as much as by .50%. (Imvho)
