Hello Forex Factory Community!

Most of you don't know me and that's just fine by me. For those, let me introduce myself. I am Adam, aged 20 and started being interested in trading 5 years ago. First years were just getting used to the basics.. then I started real trading and after it wasn't enough I decided to start learning coding and make a profitable EA for myself. And this is the short catch up

What is the reason for that title - you may be thinking about it.. And what does that little boy wants? Well, I have a team of programmers with whom I make the EAs, indicators, scripts etc.. In the beginning we used the the FF (ForexFactory) stuff from well-known people in this community. It was a pleasure to see the helpfulness of the people... After one year our EA started to get its final form... on 1st January, 2016 we announced it and sold it to friends who trust us. We optimized it, backtested it.. we did everything we could.. tests were awesome so we started using it on real accounts... I don't have to say that it was the opposite in real life... we didn't know the problem, so we started using RENKO chart and other settings.. made every single steps again... we failed again.. I have contacted lots of programmers whose do it as a job not as a freetime activity... they were suggesting that we should buy some programs if we want to be pros... all righty, we bought Tick Data Suite which was a HUGE STEP AHEAD with slippage control and many more things... we started optimizing this way... we thought that now we are on track... NO WE WERE NOT... the real life trading was worse.. at that time we were using renko bar chart developed by well-known people from this community ( don't want to spoil anyone's fame )....
I contacted an insider in an fx company who is a friend of mine... He told me some stuff... And I realised that this community is good for sharing stuff and talk to eachother but nothing else... What I am saying is that please DO NOT TRUST ANY ITEM ON THIS SITE AS IT IS FREE AND MADE BY FREE TIME PROGRAMMERS ... I know I am going to be laughed or maybe dismissed for what I am writing but I only want to HELP for those who want to LIVE FROM TRADING.

If you want to be professional you have to act professional! Buy the required programs for making the EAs or simply to test your strategy. Yesterday I bought the last element for my pack.. from AZ INVEST there is a RENKO plug-in which gives you 99% backtesting... I tried it out with the best optimization (got from the previous FREE STUFF from this site) and instead of 9378465% gain under one month I got a burnt account from $300 to $0 under 4 days... That's why you cannot trust these items. I appriciate the work behind them but they are useless for professional usage.

I hope I didn't hurt anyone's feelings, if so that's great because those will learn from these lines and make better things for the community.

If you don't adjust the open Prices for a BT the BT is worthless

You are partially right, I didn't want to mention his name but when it comes to his RenkoBuilder it's great, really but the converting program he also supplies is a piece of pinata... and that minor mistake makes all the work useless.. If one puts something on the FF try to be pro and give the right tools or don't put anything..

So let me see whether I got this right:
You have created an EA using free Tools you got from FF and sold it to your friends
You obviously only made BTs and never tested in live environment
Then you come here and complain about the free stuff
Once again: you have to know what you are doing
If there was something wrong with the converter (I don't know why you Need it at all) you could have seen it in early stage if you had known what you are doing

I consider this thread as an affront

Nope. I tested it in live environment and saw the differences between that and the BTs... You're right about being aware of what you are doing that's why I wrote down that me, myself needed some assistance but FREE STUFF isn't good for pro usage. Converter is needed for tick date to be converted into MT4. Consider what you would like to consider but deep down you know that I'm right. I wouldn't make a post for some silly thing.

What do you mean by converting tickdata into MT4?
Hopefully not to convert it into history data because that's nonsense
if you are using renko you want to reduce noise. So your EA shouldnt trade within a renko bar. So what more do you Need than OHLC
a 99.9% BT data doesn't make sense to me at all in this case
When you are using tickdata, you most likely use the data from Dukascopy
Will your live trading also be only with Dukas or will you use other Brokers with a different Datafeed?

When you dwnld data from SQTD you need to format it in some cases and with free stuff it was the only way... then what I bought I don't have to format it because a built in script will format it to the given parameters.

I don't know SQTD but convert it into what?
