Glad it's working for you.

If you look at the Code, it should be easy enough to change it to fit most/any other Indicator. Just Replace RSI with the indicator of your choice.

If you open the EA in metaeditor and read through the script there is a description of the trading rules that you could follow manually.

I found the manual for firebird if you could take a look at this I do not think every thing can be coded in vt but maybe some of it could. I have not had a chance to code this yet I'm working on some other projects but I thought I would share the info. It should open with IE the link should be below.

I am trying to set up an SMA with a line 10 pips above it and another line 10 pips below it. I intend to put it on 5 min charts. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

On the VT trader there is a STOCHASTIC RSI OSCILLATOR,however, it gives only one line when plotted on the charts.

In the window where a trader can put in their own defined parameters, there seems to be only two parameters for stochastics. Is it possible to adds the third parameter for the stochastics , the same as the slow stochastics indicator.
This will then plot two lines in the indicator. I use the crossover of this indicator alot in my trading.

Is it possible to add this tool to the fib toolkit?

It would be similar to the fib time tool so that it would run horizontally along the course of time rather than price.

Starting at a certain candlestick in time, the trader would stretch it across the time frame, similar to the current fib time tool, but with these important differences:

The tool would be set to go back in time, rather than forward.
(better yet ... set to go either way !!)

I would have vertical lines at the following fibonnacci counts:
3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144,233 and 377 .

So as the tool was stretched over time, a vertical line would be placed at the 3rd candle the 5th 8th 13th 21st....etc. Just as the expansion lines are placed on the chart with the time fib tool.

Just as the fib time tool can be set in place and then the whole set up moved, the tool should have this feature as well.

What do you think?

Test on Demo Only to ensure it is what you want to Trade.

The entries are based on the WMA crossing the SMA with all the other critera already being correct.
If this is not as you understand it should be, let me know.

If it IS possible, the Trader would select the Starting Candle and the Calculation would start from there. Note* Time Based Calculations are extreme CPU Hogs.

I have tried this with a few other calcs and find that [when I can get it to work] this further intensifies CPU Usage. {Since the Code cannot look into the future, you are asking, Once you have reached a Value [Date/Time] to Start From, go back and recalculate these other 11 points}

I think it's a cool idea that would create a cusomizeable Fib Grid, but like so many other objects in the arsenal and due to it's flexibility, could be quite dangerous in inexperienced hands.

I would like to make a request for a system that some people have been having difficulties coding. A couple people have made a request on the VTsystems forum, but Chris said that he would not have his team code the system because it would be too time consuming since it requires 3 layers of signals. And I don't like the idea of coding it in MT, because I think VT has a better data feed. I seem to get more reliable signals in VT.

So here goes:

5 min chart, GBP/USD

Go long when Vidya (default) and DEMA (25, exponential) cross up.

Go short when Vidya (default) and DEMA (25, exponential) cross down.

The inital trade is 2 lots. 1 lot is closed at +10 pips, .5 lot is a closed at +50 pips, and the other half is closed at +100 pips.

Example:

Vidya and DEMA cross up. You go long at 1.8800. Close 1 lot at 1.8810. Close .5 lot at 1.8850. Close .5 lot at 1.8900.

If the Vidya and DEMA cross when you're in the trade before all 3 T/P levels are reached, you would close the remaining position and reverse. So, for example, you go long at 1.8800. Close 1 lot at 1.8810. Close .5 lot at 1.8850. Price then hits a high of 1.8870, and the DEMA and Vidya cross down. The remaining .5 lot would then close and a new short position is opened.

If anyone could code this, it would be greatly appreciated.
hi there....i am requesting what i hope will be a simple indicator with an alert capability. i am not that knowledgeable as of yet with all the proper forex terminology, so please bear with me.

what i would like to have is an alert that will sound on my computer and be sent to my phone at the same time, when the blue line (fast line) on the MACD frame I have set up, reaches 0.0000 - that's it. the MACD settings I have are:

exponential
close
26
exponential
9
exponential
*Fast line is colored the default blue and the signal line is red

i would need accompanied with this step-by-step instruction on how to set it up and use it since i am not technically savvy.

if someone could tackle this little project and put something together, i sure would appreciate it. thanks in advance.

i forgot to mention (and i apologize for this) that i would like to apply this indicator to the EUR/USD, GBP/USD and USD/JPY charts. Therefore, when I get alerted via text message (?) to my phone, it would be great if it would tell me which currency pair it was that the MACD blue line hit the 0.0000 mark.

Hi there, i'd love to code these myself, but unfortunatly my programming skills are very sub par. I'm actually finding VT Trader to be quite a bit superior to MetaTrader4 which is what i'm using right now. Is there anyway anyone can convert these MT4 indicators to VTT ? They are attached. Thanks. If so, I think you will have one more VTT convert!
