Since my 1h is bullish. I will place a pending short for this next 4h time period. 1697.4x, Stop has to be tight above 1698.05 plus spread. If pa is here around day close. Abort because the wider spread will take it out. gold euro

cancelled because the s/l is wider now. Now the 4 at 1740 requires closes below it. I could short the yellow line area. but need a 1h close below 1677. Too many variables for me now. It was only for that 4h window.

Later if nothing happens above that yellow line. It may bring another shot. But for the eu to rise. gold/euro may need to fall. That's why I watch that area,

Gold/ usd above 1740 is bullish to me. ATM it sits above at 1756
Gold/euro below 1688.67 is bearish ro me. ATM pa sits at 1687
Eu Above 1.0303 is bullish to me. Atm pa is at 1.0410

The closer trade to those bear/bull numbers i the gold/euro. The closer if right has the least amount of risked slip. This pair being so close may need to find the equilibrium a little higher than that yellow line at 1688.67.To catch up to the spacing those others have,

Another day test of the 200 ema day. The eu did close above. The usdx candle shown is not correct. Probably do to a feed stop Thanksgiving. It has some time missed on that day. It dont show up on the 12h. The blue is the 200 ema, The red the 50 ema. On the 12 and lower the 50 has crossed the 200... but not the day. Eu had reached 1.0349 algo + more than the usual 43 pips. At that time the usd algo was not as close at 105.78. It looks like the 200 ema day is holding the cards. For either direction. So far the usdx day ema is not allowing a drop deeper.

EU ADR is about 1.0467. The 12h did close on the 200 day weak side. Its not a day close yet, but the 12h eu did have the golden/and usd death cross. Buying eu retraces looks best.

That 200 is about 1.0388.. Bulls want to keep eu closes above. eu bulls want the usdx below 1.0569. Pa is above, at 1.0593.

With the situation in China I wouldn't be surprised if bears try an attack
