{quote} So your saying OPEC is gonna cut oil to a world going to electric vehicles? Let them cut production. At the same time let them cut the social money they dish out to the peasants. That would be great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGLGzRXY5Bw

transition will take a lot of time.
Europe still very much against Nuclear. so 20 -30 years with trasition.

Also you need a lot of dirty energy to power up and switch to clean one.

Since 6am this morning, people in Turkey are now 15% poorer. You have got to feel for them!!! I have also just seen it gap on the 5 mins. Not a pair to get involved in as there are desperate hands and low liquidity.

they are not poor. I honestly want to see how Erdogan will make it.
Turkish are wise people and have invested a lot of money in Europe.

While you (not you in particular) can critisize Erdogan he is very close to terminate his "enemies"
At 20% a lot of people will lend them money

Prince @MohamedBinZayed Abu Dhabi is there today. -

Coincidence ? I think not

take other countries that have burrowed huge in USD -
look into countries like Romania on others that have big debt and mostly consumer nation

now i really want to see how will they repay money. so far is silent. cause everybody is with Covid.

Turkey may default or refinance. They or only Erdogan doesnt' want to dance on the same music as others

we will see, history is full of examples of countries that stand against this and did not succeed.

Maybe just Russia. I for one i am very curious.

wti 78 from $75 from morning

and they did not even started to sell.

USA has the money, finance, and mostly energy independent.

Coordinated release of strategic reserves is dumbest thing ever. and you also want Europe to release ? pff

Anyway just my 2c

just close exports from US. or maybe there are huge reserves. USA is not producing more even if it can.

it's hard to mass produce. look at TSLA even if things look very good we are getting to 300.000 cars per Quarter
we need way more than this

can we produce 100M EV cars earlier than 2030 i think not.

and that's only cars

Why? The assembly line producing petro burners will just switch to electric. Problem solved. Korea Germany and Japan will do the same. The only thing stopping it here is the charging stations. Last week they signed a package for charging stations. Tesla is still a startup. Tesla has to build the plants. There is already infrastructure in the NorthWest. (Detroit area even the South U.S. makes cars now. etc) Some smart guy somewhere is figuring out a way to make cheap batteries. Hopefully eventually the government will bury the chargers in the road. So we can charge as we drive. We just get a bill on the CC. That would save commuter's time.

TSLA has 10 years, it got to the point of producing 300K card a quarter.
next place is way lower - TSLA has 2 giga factories - 2 more coming on from january
i just think it will take longer than expected.

Climate change - Zero has until 2050 for most of the countries. China 2060
still 30 years - 40 years to that level

Biden actually realise more than i have expected, and also talked about a coordinated move from Europe
Crude WTI did't blink. closed at highs of the Day

CAD revers all the losses - the move may continue into tomorrow who knows.

Btw Western Europe + USA seems very united on all fronts, from Russia - China issues to energy
Good to know

I would expect a coordinated move next year on Rate Hikes, keep that in mind they want to see this markets stable to up
and at this point people still expect US to do more.

Following the announcement of the release of strategic petroleum stockpiles by the United States, the Japanese government will announce the release of national petroleum stockpiles on the 24th. Of the surplus that exceeds the required stockpile, about 4.2 million barrels, which is equivalent to one to two days of domestic demand, will be released as a guide. Bid for sale will be held by the end of the year. This is the first release of national stockpiles. Although it has shown a cooperative stance with each country at the request of the United States, its impact on crude oil prices is unknown.

Tesla atm is not a pimple on the ass on Ford or Gm's production. Keep in mind Musk has a pocket full of coin. He could buy GM or Ford and make electric cars. You can ramp up and get 10 million pretty quick. Ford orders for the electric lightening truck exceeded expectations.

Here at home a refinery closed, The owner wants to make batteries there. Big oil gone electric. https://investor.phillips66.com/fina...X/default.aspx
