If you can leave MT4 running, you can use the line alert indicator that will e-mail you, and I just use the e-mail to SMS feature that allmost all carriers have but often don't publish on their websites.
You set any line, and set the line description to Alert_ with whatever note you want.
If you want it to go off within pips of that line, do Alert_ 5 whatever note.
It will go off within 5 pips.
I'm assuming these are north american only carriers, if you are outside NA there may be a similar service available but I have no idea.
Although I use metatrader, if you are not interested in having a computer on all the time here is a free service I used to use. If I remember correctly they have a limited number of currencies you can have an alert for, although I haven't been there in a while this could have changed.
You can have it alert you for many different events, price action, indicators crossing, and custom. I haven't used anything but the price action alerts, so I cannot vouch one way or the other.
I think I can post a free service. Sorry if I get deleted.
Edit: It is a free service from MG Financial according to the top of the page.
