Heavy news today. It was better to stay out until announcement.

Anyway we had two short signals in the morning.

EUR/USD (+35p.) closed before the news
GBP/USD (-16p.) SL hit

As for yesterday, not much action after thursday madness.
Market waited for NFP and when it finally arrived there was not much volatility.

Overall sentiment was of course to the upside.Please note our levels of interest(pic.1). There was also buy signal before the news, but the safer way was to wait till announcement and then get into trend on small TFs.

First trade hit 28p. Second finished on SL -12p. (pic.2)

I hope the next week will bring more volatility.

Hello,

nice start of the week, as monday's are usually slow and low volatility.

Sell signals on EUR/USD and AUD/USD.
Please note the difference in levels between those two. What that difference tell us? It's simple:
AUD/USD levels are close. Trend is weaker, it's just started to build.
EUR/USD levels of interest are far apart, trend is strong, we can expect more pips from such trade.

Today's winner was AUD/USD for sure.

In the morning our levels on AUD/USD was close to each other, but few hours later situation has changed as traders were interested in lower prices (pic.1).

Today we have a continuation of yesterday's AUD/USD sell off.
Two signals on asian session, and another two on early London.

We had also few signals on GBP/USD, but there was a 'red' news ahead.

Today we have a good example, how to use Stop lose properly.

AUD/USD. M15 Timeframe.

Multiple sell signals (asian session/early London).
SL should be placed at the last swing, as it's technically the best place. Of course each time frame has different average values (in pips) for stop lose. SL on M5 time frame is usually around 15pips, but M15 often needs 20-25pips.

If the last swing is further than this values, we can simply adjust your lot size to keep similar risk on each trade.

Chasing the rabbit...

What to do, if we miss the trade on typical TF's like M5/M15.

Today we had a few buy signals on GBP/USD M5, but levels of interest were close to each other, so trend was pretty weak/ it just started to build. A little bit later we had a nice upside spike on cable, but we haven't taken that trade earlier.

In such situation we can join the trend on the fastest time frame.
M1 gives a lot of opportunities, but it's recommended to use it on trending pairs.
Stop lose is usually around 5-8pips, and should be placed on the last swing.

Hello,

not much today, I've been sitting on one trade for the whole day to get a few pips.

As for 'our three majors':

AUD/USD was pushed by the news I've talked yesterday. I took the long signal on early London, but it didn't moved much and was closed for few pips.
EUR/USD was going opposite to the last trend. On the US session there were two sell signals, but levels of interest were close to each other and I did not take that trade.
GBP/USD was in very narrow range and even news didn't pushed it into specific direction.

Small trade from this morning.

AUD/USD turned to the down side in the last several hours. Levels of interest are far apart.

EUR/USD and GBP/USD still bouncing here and there with levels of interest close to each other.

Now waiting for US session and 'red' news.
