Red News Hedge Trading + EA

Hi MathTrader, I was drawn to this as I was looking for something to compliment my normal swing trading. Well, I downloaded your EA and played around with it for a bit. I tried various things: instead of correlated pair, I used a fast moving pair that had good momentum and a free run, or a pair that was about to hit a major s/r level to split for the hedge and I also tried correlated pairs.

Anyway, here are the results for a few days testing on demo. Obviously it needs some refining on my part , but I think I can get something out of this. Thanks

By the way, today I used GBPCAD and AUDCAD for the CAD news. Got the result

Hedge trading is not limited to high impact red news, neither to highly correlated pairs of symbols. As you use the EA for various trading styles. Please keep posting your findings if you will

Hedge trading is completely new to me. I am trying to combine it with what I know best. I'll test it for a bit and hopefully I can find something that will consistently work well . Good job on the EA, thanks again, that works perfectly. The timer addition is godsend as I am not often at my desk for long!

Yes, you need a good ecn broker. I am testing on FXOpen, seems fine. I am not currently using the SL feature because I want to try the right level. After I have enough appropriate results I will look at the max drawdown and decide from that.

I tried this EA for a few days last week and saw it can do during red news with good results, but now I can't try with your latest vision , bcoz my broker still use MT4 build 902. Can you establish it for all MT4 vision?

I traded Euro this morning too on the German PMI. News was weak, but USDCAD was looking good for a buy, with a little space left before the reversal zone. So, got a result I think I'm going to have to start looking at this seriously now... Great tool, Mathtrader!

Wow , good result . You use a very big lot size , not is it too mutch for 1500 account ?
Ps , now i am looking for EUR/GBP vs EUR/USD (sell/buy but is maybe earlier to take this , if i will have a good signal of short EUR/GBP i will enter )

Well, I'm just playing around... I'm not after many pips. That last trade was 9.6 and 3.7 respectively. See how it goes.

Issue: If I go for editing the attached EA parameters and then ok for exit the properties, it becomes vanish sometimes not always. It needs to be attached again. My MT4 build is 910. I always change the magic no. for every attached EA on the chart. Can you pls have a look on the issue?

When it disappears after you edit some of the input settings, do you see a message such as "Auto Trade Time is passed!" on the top-left of the chart?

It started , i try the perfect hadge (size) of Math7
I will stop when 2 stoch (or the two currencies ) are touching each other (or max SL of -5% )

I think we can make it automate for easier forward testing...
