This is swb martinglae EA with best setting. I use it and got good result. I have attached graph. I tested it from 2008-12-10 to 2012-7-17.
Deposit 5000 dollars with 0.01 lot. If you want to get higher profit then you should use broker that has low spread 2 or less then 2. Don't use instaforex with this EA because it has 3 spread.........Check this ... I tested it with OPEN PRICE ...

why to do a back test that ends 3 years into the past?

I just Ended it up because my laptop battery was down. so you can test with with other dates. You can post your results......

Maybe you can get this problem. See the balance, balance is enough to trade, more then 3600 dollars. Check with tick to tick Mode....I also got this problem sometimes with open mode. We can fix this problem.

Like all grids/martingales, it'll bite you in the ass when it goes countertrend.
I lost my account using this EA. It needs improvement as the martingale will not stop until it blows up your account.

If anyone can modify this to recover a losing grid, this may help to mitigate the risk associated with the martingale.

Using martingale can kill your account in a minute, but if you use this EA wisely you can get a good performance and an medium DD.
I never use multiple 2, only 1 so this never creates a use DD.
I also use a 150 or 200 pips level and take profit it is always 50.
My TF is 1H...
I don't know if this will help you but with me is the best settings. I will not get rich in a month but you will see money growing

Dear iqreader, thank you for your useful EA, ive tested it in EURUSD current year, it empty your account several times, in my opinion this settings works much better on EURCHF M5 (you can test it!) it works pretty good even with a $100 principal, but i have to say although your setting has improved the EA but still there is the big problem: its still a martingale EA and can blow your account even with a $10k balance! i believe the only way that a martingale EA can be successful, is trading in the limit. we have to recognize each day what pair is safe to trade, eg: avoid trading in important news times.
i will be happy to know the others ideas too....

But, i don't know why this is not working on your mt4....I am using this same ea, and i tested it 2008-12 but it didn't empty my account....

Martingale EA works well in sideways market only, btw your test result not showing return of investment ( ROI )

its not hard to find a side way market but its probable trend goes the wrong direction as soon as we enter.
and good point, since a martingale strategy is so risky, i expect much more profit too.

dear iqreader, it will be a great advantage if you add a stop loss in money for the EA, and can almost solve big loss problem, for example: AUDUSD 1st July to 24th august, with the range40, turns $100 to $400 and suddenly empty your account. it could be continue growing if we could set sl in money to $100. this way it's like you have withdrawn $300 of your balance. of course we can set level for this but its hard to determine the level number.
