Hi everyone, here's a little update with year to date data.

557 trades - win rate 51.1% - max consecutive wins 8 - max consecutive losers 13 (that hurt!) - average trade winner 1.75% - average trade losers 1.3%

6 month target hit with 2 weeks to go -

2036 pips on H1/H4 (chart 1) and
557 on Daily (chart 2)..
weekly version (chart 3) *highlighted area on chart 3 is holiday period so very little trading on H1

Is the 557 pips on daily for March and April only that is for 2 months?

that was the 4 weeks I was on Holiday - so it was just the last 2 days of February and some of March

yes and no Raylin - in the group we have seen probably an equal split between them be good days and bad, so really it's just a matter of choice and not significant over the long run

Could you please explain how are you doing success with this system?
51.1% of winning ratio is almost like flipping a coin.

A coin flip with an edge.

Look at the results:
average win = 1.75%
Average loss = 1.3%
total pips won over 2500

And you ask why is this successful?

The purpose of my question was to understand how this strategy could be a winning ones.
Watched some videos on you tube but still not clear enough for someone that just discovered this thread for the fist time.
Where to find more complete information about this strategy?
Does this strategy work on higher time frames like 4H, D1 etc...

Hi Merka,

the big idea here is instead of trying to predict price movement using analysis we accept that the movement of price is largely unpredictable. So we trade movement alone - price has to move and when it does we will be in that movement. If price is going up we buy, if price is going down we sell - then we manage those trades in a style we prefer... holding for a few big wins, taking profit quickly. We have a simple trigger as to when we should manage trades and then we have a few options (hold,move to b.e, close)

It is about adopting a different mindset to the masses, we know the majority of people trade with technical analysis and we know most people are losing, statistically we also know that technical analysis really doesn't work. We also know that ALL humans suffer from the same cognitive biasses to differing amounts and trying to predict price movements plays into the hands of those biasses hence so much human error.

It will always be your exit and the market movement that decides your profit - the belief that entries have a large part to play is purely down to ego and wanting to prove oneself. Most traders want to control the market and the outcome of each of their trades, they want to remove uncertainty - we on the other hand know that it is about long term averages and opportunity, as long as price moves we have opportunity.

As for long TF, we're pretty much all trading H4 and Daily TF in the group now - price movement is the same on all timeframes, it goes up and down - the higher TF's give more time to manage trades and most weeks we have all hit our targets in the first few days of the week.
