The EA can also be further improved to indicate if price is outside bollinger bands (changeable deviation, default 2.0) by indicating a lighter red/green color depending oversold or overbought.

It seems there has been some confusion caused by a lack of information on my part

Every pair appears twice: once in the base currency group, once in the quote currency group
e.g. EURUSD will appear in EUR currency group (base) and the USD currency group (quote).

Whenever you are doing currency strength calculations such as this one, you have to invert the values of the quote currency.

Consider this EURNZD chart:
Attached Image (click to enlarge)

Name: EURNZD.png
Size: 27 KB

Price is currently below the MA by 17.3 pips.

This suggests weakness in EUR and strength in NZD.

So, when this pair appears in MADdash you will see -17 in the EUR group and +17 in the NZD group.

This conversion is done automatically to create a more intuitive dash.

A wall of green bricks instantly means strong
A wall of red bricks instantly means weak.

This is far simpler to interpret then looking at a mixed color wall and then assessing each pair to make the mental adjustment for whether it is the base or the quote currency. Humans are visual creatures.

Hope that helps

Very true we are visual creatures and thanks for this additional information and better format of presentation as this was my exact problem before you came up with this novel idea. The MADdash used to be in this format

Compare the two and the difference is clear

Hi Honestknave and 919gilead. My humble observation of the wonderful Dash is that its heavy on CPU and doesn't fit to screen. No option to adjust dimensions. Thanks.

Hello Phoenixpg1,

Thanks for your comments. The latest version has an ability to change the font size, thus fitting it to a smaller screen.

Can you elaborate on your experiences when you say it is heavy on CPU? Each cycle takes less than 1ms to run on my very average PC

Can't wait to see this in action and want to thank both of you.
This makes sense to me for 'correlation at a glance'.
Bravo!

A suggestion for V.2... this makes sense to do this (imo)

It would help the trader in weighting a decision as to WHICH pair
they want to act on or wait for or ignore
when seeing a wall of red or green bricks.

And yes... I understand that is the 'purpose' of the columns of 'floating pairs' on the right side also..
maybe being 'stationary' would be a further assist in the heat of the moment or in calculating decisions
whether to basket trade the whole anchor family or leave several out.

Cheers & thanks again!!

Can I ask, this piece on the right hand of the chart, is it perhaps possible that you please make all the other currencies black. I only follow eurusd and eurjpy. You can imagine with all the co lours it is difficult to follow my two only. What I would to see, is just the eurjpy and eurusd numbers pls, if possible. This is an amazing thing that you guys have shared with us. Your lives will truley be blessed. {image}
