Great thread. I think one of the bigger challenges is staying motivated after you've already achieved some success. Once you've made $1m, most people just aren't as hungry for the next million. I think most of us are doing this largely for the money and it can be a challenge to stay motivated once your quality of life hits a point of diminishing returns so to speak.

I agree on these three. You are right, they are undoubtedly the major points, trading can get disciplined only by combining these traits.

Only post that is real. Results are the only source of motivation in anything you do. As to whether you will stay motivated after the first million, I think motivation really starts after the first million. Before then you still have alot of doubts as to whether you can do it.
