Working on digesting this approach to trading and I have so far come up with 3 questions.
1. The moving averages selected are slow to react and provide confirmation, what about complimenting this approach with a 9 DEMA and EMA which would provide an earlier signal to enter or exit? I appreciate that these faster indicators provide false signals so they should not be used without context both in terms of the number of candles involved and other indicators but when used correctly, they appear to contribute positively to the approach.
2. With respect to active trade management, instead of a stop loss, what about an EA that follows your trade and closes the trade if the price starts to reverse x points against you? I am still looking for such an EA! There are a couple out there that allow for manually following the trade.
3. What about splitting the volume on the EP where 1/2 closes after 200 pts and the other half 'runs' until the above ea kicks you out of it?
I am impressed by the use of volume in the strategy as it has frustrated me that this is ignored by so many others. Appreciate any feedback
