I really like to rail to rail renko chart, But on my implementation there is a small (onepip) difference when the price is moving sideways. If it alternates between up and down, the low and high prices often differ 1 pip from the previous ones. Is there an easy way to make these prices equal? This would make it easier to program my EA and set some sideways behavior.
I include a screenshot, difficult to see , but there is always a small difference between the low or the high.

That seems to be a bug in your implementation. I cannot advice as I don't have the source code. But sure you can figure it out by doing a proper check and debug of your code.

Hello MathTrader7: Do you have a renko chart creator EA for MT5? If so, please share. Many thanks.

Greetings, lately I have been reading about the repainting issue on renko charts which renders them useless when it comes to backtesting a strategy, so I found this non repainting renko made by kiads, the charts stay the same even when the terminal has closed or refreshed, the problem is I was used to your nongap renko charts, is there any way to implemment this "non repainting" to your style of renko? I need to backtest my systems, I donīt like the idea of keep on taking the trades and hope nothing changes, even if I lose, I would like to see the losing trade and why it happened, they way it its now all I see is a repainted scenario of what actually happened and the way it shows it is like if the trade went the right way. I hope you can help me out, your renko charts have been the only ones who I have found could be profitable, but is just that one issue. Here is the kiads non repainting indi, unfortunely he never shared the code source so I know this that I am asking might be impossible but if you could found out how to make your renko like his but with the nongap function that would be great.

Good day.

Can be used
Now I am thinking about how much value to use? Should I use the spread? Or is it better to use 50?

Version 1.67 released. In this version I fixed a bug that caused incorrect chart creation when settings both "Show price jumps?" to "Yes" and "Choose Renko Type" to "Rail to Rail". Thanks to @forexaz for reporting this bug!
Attached Image
Excuse me
These two items are to be adjusted to
"No""Rail to Rail"?
Now it is installed
"Yes""Non-gap"

Sorry that English is not my mother tongue. The grammar is wrong. Please forgive me.

Take a screenshot of your MT4's Experts tab (in the Terminal window) and paste it here. It might says the error based on which I can figure out what the problem could cause it.

It hasnīt move at all from there, there isnīt any error in the experts tab, if I change it to other timeframe, 6 or 9 it works for a while but then it stops again

I have to be constantly monitoring it and refreshing it/changing timeframes..

I just tested US30 on my MT4 build 1340 (23 jul 2021), with 2000 points for Renko size, and it works like a charm without any problem,

I have no idea why it doesn't work on your MT4, but I guess that you might have some other EAs running in parallel that cause a confliction with the MT7 Renko creator EA.

Great stuff, especially multi-symbol ea. Thanks very much for sharing.
Don't know if anybody reported, when using live offline chart created by MathTrader7_RenkoChartCreatorEA 1.62 , the candle open time\Time[0] is written to hst as current time and constantly overwritten with current time as the candle progresses, which results in Open time=Close time for that candle.
The multi-symbol ea writes a candle Time[0] on opening and doesn't overwrite it, i.e. correct.
Please can you look into the issue when you have time.

Cheers

Could this be the reason of my freeze issue? I notice it gets fixed when I close metatrader and open it again, I believe the problem is once I closed the renko window the offline chart freezes at the price before closing it and then I need to open a new window with a different timeframe

There is no reason that this time label issue has anything to do with your freeze issue.
