Here is a preliminary result from the new Multi Tester.

This does not use Stop Loss or Take Profit, it is in the market most of the time.

I have been working with moving averages a lot on the daily charts but this application of Donchian Channel is giving better results.

I am using System Quality Number and Win - Loss as the primary criteria for sorting results along with a look at the equity curve.

So far the results have been excellent.

Wow........ the new Multi Test creates a lot of new strategies, I think I get about 5 new ones for each of the 100 created by the generator.

I set the output to give me only strategies that have a win/loss over 90 percent and I get a lot of those.

And I try to get a high number for System Quality and Sharpe ratio.

The new tools are most helpful...

Hello Traders,

Forex Strategy Builder Professional comes with new features and new Expert Advisors code.

Changes in FSB:
- Added "Export all Strategies to MT4/5" options in the toolbar and in Strategy menu.
- Added a "Multi Tester" tool in the Repository page. Features:
- Recalculation of multiple strategies from a folder or form a collection.
- Collecting the recaclulated strategies in an output collection.
- Possibilities to override the strategies Profile, Data Source, Symbol or Period
- The strategies can be filtered out with the help of Acceptance Criteria.
- All strategies can be optimized.
- Added a "Save As"button for the strategy collections.
- Added an option "Change data files time zone" in the Data Download page. When it is off, FSB keeps the original data time zone (UTC) when there is no UTC support in some Windows installations.
- Added LTF options and vertical shift to "Previous High Low" indicator. It allows interesting settups as for example "Enter long 10 pips below the yesterdays Low".

Fixed Bugs in FSB:
- Fixed unnecessary additional signal shift of LTF indicators with some logic rules.
- Fixed setting of the Editor's page indicator chart Volume color.
- Fixed a crash in Data Download page for Windows installations that do not support UTC time zone. This problem was noticed in Windows copies designed to be used in only one country.
- Fixed misspelling of PositionPriceDependence enumeration. The option "BuyLowerSelHigher" is replaced with "BuyLowerSellHigher". The current indicators can used the older option, but we recommend the new variant for the future custom indicators.
- Fixed changing values in the Indicator Options dialog by using the mouse wheel.

Changes in the MQL code:
- Removed all external prerequisites for the EA: Object.mqh, StdLibWrr.mqh, ArrayObj.mqh, WinUser32.mqh, stdlib.mqh, EasyXml.mqh. Now all you need for trading the EA is contained in the exported file.
- The expert loading is faster, which can make the difference in case of recompilation and restart during trading.
- Added Min_Data_Bars parameter for the users who want to increase the number of bars loaded by the EA.
- Removed the included XML version of the strategy in the code. The strategy creation code is generated by FSB and placed directly in the EA code during the export.
- Unified the strategy trading logic code in a single file used in both MT4 and MT5 experts. This improvement guaranties the nearest possible trading behavior in both MT versions.
- Fixed a typo in mql indicators option "IsDefaultGroupAll". The old variant "IsDeafultGroupAll" is still working but deprecated.

Forex Strategy Builder Professional v3.5 comes with improved MQL code (v33) for the exported Expert Advisors.

New features:

1. The Expert Advisors exposes all strategy parameters in the Input tab of the Expert Advisor panel when you attach the EA to a MT chart. You can adjust the parameters slightly in order to make the EA working better on a specific broker. (You have to be careful not to set a parameter out of its the normal range.)
2. The collection page shows the number of the passed (shown) strategies.

Fixed bugs:

1. Fixed a critical bug with Position open below Indicator logic rule.
2. The Multi Tester tool doesn't freeze when you run it on a folder without strategies.
3. Multi Tester Browse button selects the original Strategy folder by default.

This updated requires full installation.It guarantees the compatibility of the FSB version and the MQL code version.

Please report any issues you encounter in order to fix them as soon as possible.

Hi .I have a question when i export strategy to my desk top it is .xml file how can i get it worked on mt4 to get mql file and use as templete to monitor first before making in to ea .Thanks

Hi Thanks for your reply How can i export indicator as i want to see if the ea is opening on the correct or want to the logic i.I start liking your software but need time to understand it how long if your promotion 50% discount awailable for .I still have 25 days as wgoing through all your pdf and videos during the past saturday and sunday .

You can see the indicator values on the left side of the chart. The EA prints the values for the previous and the current bar.

If you want, you can attach a corresponding indicator from MetaTrader. Our indicators are 100% equal with the original MT indicators and you can use them (only for reference). In reality, we never use any MT indicator because we do everything - the strategy design, testing and analysis in FSB. We use MT only as a data feed and order execution service.

On of the videos from the above link cover the topic of comparing MT trading and FSB testing. You can use the MetaTrader with attached MT indicators in Visual mode to visualize the process.

See that video for building a strategy and an EA.




I'm using two custom indicators in that video: Rising Volume and Candle Color.
You can download these indicators directly from Forex Strategy Builder.
To do it, please open the Repository tab (there is an icon on the tool bar) and then go to the Indicators page. Search for the corresponding indicator and click the Load button.




When you do it, the program will download two components for each indicator - C# code for FSB and MQL code for exporting an Expert Advisor.

When the indicators are loaded, open a new strategy and you'll be able to find the indicators in the list.

If you prefer, you can load also this strategy form the repository. It is available under the name Rising Volume. You may change the parameters in order to adjust it for the data from your broker.

is their easy way to load once all indicator and strategy into FSB so do not have load one by one .then i can start the generator to find the best result .Another question can i upload other indicators which i like or request you to do that for my preffered indicators which you do not have them .Just as tom demark sequential .if you can do that will be interesting .I will watch all your vdos this week and then will fully be good for future developments .Thanks for your quick support

It is really easy and fast..... have a look at the pics I am posting. You can click on those icons and the indicators really quickly and they are automatically loaded into your FSBPro

Do the same for the Strategies if you like.

like this you have to add one by one am i right ? I was wondering if their is a way to add all indicators just by one click .so it can be faster same as for strategies .Thanks
