That is nice...

But why in the world would you change a good working methology??? (Cause as I said your method seems to make lots of $$$ if you would stay to it)

Hello ,

LT said about flames yesterday. He told us to follow the flames for some days.
I see a lot of flames and spikes.

Is this normal after great falls?

Shall we trade the spikes?

I have trade it some in the opposite direction and they are profitable, although risky.

Ideas ?

Basil

I mentioned in a post, a few days ago, that exits were not too bad for me - entries were where I stumble (and usually fall)...

For example, I am managing to pick a number of entires that go immediately against me (almost to the pip)... I am still trying to distinguish between a good setup and, well, no setup at all...

Studying Alessandro's posts yesterday I realised I was definately doing something wrong, in terms of entry. And am still trying to figure out what constitutes a good setup/entry...

However, most of the replies I received yesterday were talking about getting 5-10 pips. Which did make sense, as this is scalping - quick in and out. As you could see, my exits were, once a trade was in profit, based on Pivots, Round Numbers, and recent Highs/Lows...

It's getting a trade that goes into profit that I am currently struggling with... obviously more screen time...

Uuuuuh and here you can see some range breakout / Support break.

Canyouseeme, first screen shows how the price continued. Where was your entry and exit? You used to post screens with entries and exits. It was very useful.

It could be even worse fakeout, like on the second screen.

Even I managed to scrape +8 pips out of that one...

It slowed down and turned at around .65...

This was 4 pips from today's pivot [my interperetation of it] of .61...

So, I should have been out... hold on... here, I'll show you...

There is no real range / support, just a support zone on your screen.

look at yuppies chart for my exit point, I got out as soon as the price went against me. And dont worry I will post the charts with entry and exit points again just wanted to show some nice high prob setups.

Besides I only traded in the first few screenshots. It's just way too hard to click on orders if you have some poker tables running on some other screens

IMHO, you're being too rigid, it's OK to be aware of certain levels, but the
flame has the last word, if it goes against you or you don't feel well about the
trade... get out! PROTECT PROFITS!!!

And for heaven sake, don't try to predict or force price to go your way (pivot
points). The market has his own mind.

This thread is named "Linuxtroll Simple Scalping" not "Linuxtroll Trend
Following". A 20 or 40 pip move is more than welcomed, but be aware of reversals
before all your profit turns into thin air really fast.

Hope this helps!
