{quote} Ok DB are hopeless we earned 6 figures a year following a useless strategy. Ex boss now a senior trader at UBS but we know nothing leave it to you. All you do is criticise that's easy - come up with something positive for once. I

Positive, let me think... We are still here regardless of the Virus. Trump is history and even better he lost his Twitter. We are able to talk about things like trading, countering, risk/reward, where poor people all around the world are losing everything.

Sorry Claudia, i didn't want to sound disrespectful. I am still young, what do it know. I don't know much about trading, otherwise i probably wouldn't be here

Regarding the bank traders, i just have my doubts all they do is gold. I have no doubt people there know what they are doing, getting first class education and a nice looking business card. But can you compare this with private retail trading? I guess its a hole different story and maybe risk/reward there works because they actually make/drive the markets in their advantage. Also i do believe not many of those larger investment banks still actually trading for them self, they perhaps just operating clients money and offsetting risks, thats what they do more?

regards.

+5 off the low break of the 4 hour range. Daily pivot seemed an attraction.

Hey Billy.

Just wondering what the "tt" on the end of billy stands for.

I know your into bikes, so do you host your own bike race and present the Billy Tourist Trophy to the winner?

Or is it Terrific Trader (as opposed to Terrible Trader)?

Perhaps it's Tea Totaler...(not sure about that one lol)

Cheers mate.

{quote} Well looking at what happened with the financial crisis and what deutsche bank shares are about, i wouldn't trust too much in what they are teaching there.. I didn't want to say risk/reward is not good. Just like if you lets say risk 1000 to make 3000 but then every second trade turns against you at 2800, do you then take profit even before reaching 3000, then on what decision? Or say, well i have my risk/reward proven strategy, i let it run to zero again and getting stopped out for nothing even if i could have made 2800? I mean if such...

Thanks for your comment, not exhausted at all. Yes, I bought DB too, i think last August at 4,60 EUR. Where are they now, 10? That’s good I just wished I would have bought for a few millions so I would have been retired by now. If I sell them now I might able to buy some new sneakers.

Anyways, they used to be at 100,120?

high of about 125 back in 2005. Much the same as Bear Stearns back in '08, from $160 per share to $2 in a year. I was working there back then and walking onto the trading floor that morning was not a fun place to be at all - absolute bloodbath
