Mike, beautiful trade on the USDCHF. I woke up and saw how strongly it moved down and I thought "WTF?". I can see it went to the bottom of the tight range this pair has been in surrounding 1.05 since the end of June.

What was your trigger to go short? I can see why it went, where it went, I just don't see a trigger to get into the trade.

Hey how's it goin T.J.? The red arrows indicate the bars that triggered my short order (pinbar at the 28 ema). I was in a 5 minute trade from 1.0525 and another entry lower down the line from 1.0505 (1.0505 was the entry from the 4 hour setup). Another price feed I have has pretty much the same setup but the close on the pin has more conviction as well.

Yeah my man, I'd suggest to read some of the older threads that were dedicated to his methods if you're interested. There's a LOT to learn there. Diallist has a few and there's also another called "lost in the tunnel". Brilliant conversation in it. I was going to resurrect it a while back but it seems that most don't like the work involved in learning (which is ridiculous and why it makes it so easy for guys like us). lol

And trust me brother, keep doing what you're doing. It's sooner than you think. I can see that just by what you write now. The money in this business is all in keeping it simple and sticking to your guns. Any time in my history that I haven't stuck to my guns, I've been shot. All the times I have, it's been perfect. Nothing is worse than taking a loss from a trade that you knew you shouldn't have been in...nothing. It messes with your head because you know that you didn't stick to the standard that you set for yourself.

And if I ever take a Veyron sized trade, I'll be going on vacation for a whiiillleeee, that's for damn sure. lol

Thx for the tip! I'm gonna check out that lost in the tunnel thead. Should be interesting to see if there's something I could use.

Granted, I'm still ramping up the amount of my account I trade, but it would have been a very nice day.

Alritey, I took the loss on the usd/cad for 40 pips. These are two trades, the first on the gbp/jpy I've been in for a while already, that I'll be entering here shortly.

Getting in on some of these 4 hour trades the past few days again. The chf/jpy finally moved up a bit and I'm in profit 70 pips on that one, the gbp/jpy and usd/jpy closed out at B/E, and now I've opened up a few more 4 hour setups that I'll post in juuusssttt a minute

Just got short on the gbp/usd. I got busted on the usd/chf trade, missed by T/P by literally 1/4th of a pip and so I just closed for a loss of 20.
