FXCM Mucking about lately?...

Has anybody noticed that FXCM has been mucking bout a lot lately?

I have had weird stuff happening, like spontaneous disconnects, unable to connect to the news server, the news server stopping to deliver updates, the chartserver off-line or just not updating, etc.

Even their on-line chat has been disabled for several days now...

Is it just me or is something amiss? And if there *is* something amiss, I wonder what the cause could be!

Yeah, their datafeed to the various charting services that use them has been sporadic for a few days now. They may be having internal issues, I.E. routers, servers, etc.

no - it is not just you. FXCM has got me near tears. I got up 3:15 am just to trade the news, and wouldn't you know it? The charts crash. And when it's not the charts, it's the platform itself. I'm desperatly trying to download two other brokers to demo - but because fxcm in on my system I haven't been able to download yet. I may just have to remove fxcm altogther and start fresh with someone else

hello traders , there is nothing wrong with the fxcm trading station ,

it is just a holiday yesterday , labor day i think , ,and the team that post the alerts and technical analysis is the day off ,

well, I'd have to say that with as big as FXCM is, they should have someone working for the people that have off if that is the case. That just doesn't seem right.

Nope, their supportdesk specifically said by phone that their programmers were working on both the datafeed and the newsfeed...

And besides, May 1st isn't a holiday everywhere, and news is (indirectly) fed from Thomson.com, which is open 24*7*12...

Makes you wonder what programmers are doing working on live servers during trading hours?...

FXCM feed for charts is hopeless. It was 50 pips off at one stage yesterday compared to the feeds on the FXsol tic chart and the COES feed... 50 pips, and they know it.

There's a lot of dummy traders out there trading off their chart feeds that are getting screwed and they don't know it.

Always have two feeds up when you are trading guys... in fact I've got three.

FXsolutions tic chart, Coes and FXtrek Intellicharts with either Comstock or FXCM feeds.
