I think everyone would like to know which is the best trading system out there, so I've started this poll. Please ONLY vote if you have at looked into all of these systems, or at least most of them. In fact, it would be better if you've TRIED most - if not all - of these systems. So PLEASE, PLEASE do NOT vote if you only looked at one or two systems. It would be distorting the true result of which is the best system, and wouldn't you want to know the true result of which is the best? I, myself, did not vote because I have not seriously looked into most of these systems. I have only seriously checked out the Cornflower Hourly System and the 5min Intraday System. For that reason, I didn't vote. It is not necessary for you to vote to view the results. If you want to view the results without voting, then click on "View Poll Results" at the bottom right corner of the poll box.

I obviously couldn't include every system in the poll, so I chose among 8 of the more popular systems here at FF. So please do not be offended if a particular system was not included in the poll. I included the option of "Other" for those who think some other system they tried is better than the ones listed. If you vote "Other", I would appreciate if you would post here the name of the system and comment why you voted that option. The same goes for if you voted for one of the other systems in the poll. Please comment as to why you voted for a specific system over the other systems. If you vote "Other" and do not want to comment, then at least post the name of the system you feel is better than the 8 which are listed.

I think this poll will be very interesting.

Any Trading system will work....as long as you have the Discipline and the Patience to follow it. Without those 2 NOTHING will work. Besides you could post the best trading system in the world and maybe the Developer and 1% of the people that read that System may actually become successful with it...Ibelief that the reason most people fail is because they don't have Patience and Discipline you need them both to become a good Trader. Just my Opinion.

Quickdraw,

I see you are a member for over 1.5 yrs, so I might be wrong in my assumption that I going to state. My assumption is that you have put this poll out to try to find the best method out of the ones stated. If my assumptions are wrong, you anyone readin can stop here. I realise that reading in excess of 200 pages of all the methods here is a monumentous task. So I am going to make a few suggestions.

It can almost be guarenteed from reading each method's thread, there are ppl using that method successully. Everyone you have listed, maybe exception is mouteki, there is someone using it succesfully.

There are several factors that come into play when lookig methods. The biggest one is comfort factor. Basically, the method has to talk to you. If you know what I mean. There is no point looking at a system that has 5 indicators, and you've got to be able to follow them all at once, and it confuses the hell out of you, but you are determined to follow it because there is someone that is making 1000 pips per mth with it. On the other extreme, there is no point following a system, with no indicators that asks you to look for price patterns etc, and you are there wondering if one of the three sisters is actually a brother cross dresser, or the morning star was actually an evening star, or that hammer feels like it is actually banging against ur head!!! Hope you get the drift.

First thing to determine is what is your comfort zone, and how long you can actually spend trading. If all you can spend is 1 hr per day at the screen due to personal factors, eg day job etc. then you are already putting yourself on the backfoot by deciding to trade a 5M chart(there are exceptions). Better of trading longer term charts.

Once you have determined all this, then is to set realistic goals. Large gains are possible, but to set them as a benchmark is shooting with one eye closed.

Conclusion, find a method that talks to you, is within you comfort zone, and allows u to get realistic targets.

Cheers, and happy trading.

Regards,
K.

Interesting Poll.

I only tried the Bagovino and the Mouteki, so I didn't vote to stick up with your rules.

Cheers and looking forward for the results.

Well, so far at this point it seems that "Other" is leading by quite a bit in this poll. If there is a "other" system that is better than the systems I listed, then why hasn't anyone posted here on this thread what they believe is better? Also, I'm really suprised that the "4 Hour Strategy (300+ Pips per Month)" system hasn't gotten many more votes that it has at this point. I say this because it has the most views of any system here at FF. I figured any system that has gotten the number of views it has ... would be running away in the voting. Maybe it's not as good as the number of views make it appear?

One more thing for those who want to vote: It is not necessary for you to have looked into every system in the poll to vote. I just ask that you have looked into at least 5 out of the 8 systems.

sorry but this thread is bogus dont expect others to validate you! You cant expect everyone to thoroughly test 5-8 systems in order to vote, not realistic. It's better you just suck it up like everyone else and learn the rules of trading...most successful traders are not going to disclose there success hence the OTHER category.

Its been said a million times the system is a SMALL part of the success.

Just keepn it real, I wish ye luck

The best in my opinion and trading account is Dollie's Safe Pip Indicators, part two on post #296. Use with M30 and above
