Hi.

So, I didnt like the results of my EA (probably because lack of data for M1 tf in the strategy tester). Then I just created an indicator to points the entries (similar to swingman's matrix). I backtested using this indicator and the results were poor

For usdchf 1min/2min trade when leaving oversold/bought I got something like 52% win ratio and 9 losses in a row (September, trading London/NY session; avoiding Red news 1 hour before and 1 hour after; and avoiding holidays/NFP all day)

I tested tweaking the settings 1min TF with 1min expiry ... 1min TF 5min expiry ... trading when entering the oversold zone. Tested with other pairs too (eurusd, gbpjpy ...). Everything was the same. Somedays getting 60%, 65% ... even 70% win ratio ... in other days getting 40%, 35% ... even 20% win ratio. The final average is 52%.

This is for a few more than 100 trades. I guess in the long run the result will get close to 50%. That means its just random.

This is what I got. If you're having better results then you should be trading in a different way.

Not sure if you got your back testing right. Nothings changed, trading the same way as I have mentioned for the last 6 months.

I don`t have time to post anymore, however results on the 5 min BO are going great, seem to be making around the £400 / £500 mark weekly. I have ditched the 1 min purely based on screen time and work load.

Hope everyone else is doing well, mind you due to the lack of posts I imagine most guys have given this up.

tried the 1M1 /2 min, too many losses in a row, going back to 5 min also . you still have same results? only 1 time 4 cons loss in lat 6 month?

I have previously developed one, unfortunately now I can not say whether it works properly or not...
Please do not ask about, tests and changes the code itself if something is wrong.

- The indicator is very useful because it draws the equity, or you do not know how you've traded on CL.

A newbie here, have only been trading BO for a couple of months.

What I have found working well for me, is taking 5min trades based on the closing of 1min candles, in relation to where they close outside the Bollinger Bands. The requirement to learn more, and excel with this strategy, led me to do a bit of research, and voila, I ended up here, with like minded folks.

Is it possible to ADD your Moving Average found here, as a filter as well to the Italian Job Matrix V6 or V4. This way I am filtering signals by the Trend.

Trade manually, EA`s don`t always work properly.

EA ta running cool Sugarman, only the martingale is not doubling the value, if anyone knows solve it is 100%

If you lose, do you double up or look for another trade.
Hey! I will start to try this strategy from next monday. What currency do you recommend? I guess that USD/CHF is giving good results now, isn't it?
hi, i tested this strategy and i have to say that its higly profitable and very easy..
but i spending too much time for just siting and watching all graphs, so my question is:
do you have any idea how to setup an alarm on matrix indicator?
