Hi guys, ive found similar indicator to clive cci hitrogram, and it comes with alert, can any coders code it alert based on the direction of both moving average direction, currently it alert on every direction pull back.you can see the pic, would prefer to have the alert on yellow pullback bar and based on the both MA direction.

Early bird gets the worm
Hi people.I need your assistance please.I have a dotted moving average and i would like to make it thick and keep it dotted.There is no such option in MT4 because when you choose a thicker line MT4 changes the dotted line to a solid line.Does anyone know a solution to this,maybe a customized moving average with such an option?

Trying to set up Range bar charts for the old mt4 non Ovo stuff but the offline chart is "Frozen"

Yes thats it. First, with some range bar indicators/EAS if you need to correctly render offline charts, say for 5 pip range bars, you need to put 50 in the range instead of 5.Also, 7200 bars in the history may slow/crash your MT4.
I use 3000. For some reason the range bars i have used seem to work better when you put "FALSE" where it says 5 digit broker.
Please try these suggestions.If you still experience issues, maybe try the Range barz i have attached here as well as my working settings but this is an EA.
As my inputs show, i put 50 when i want 5 pip range bars and when you open a DOW JONES chart for example, since the charts have more digits, you need to input 500 if you need a 5 pip chart.Let us know how it goes please.

Edit - added chart.......hmmmm.........Not sure bars are same length......might still buy the blasted thing from OVO !

Edit of Edit...Just tried your RangeBarZ Expert...that seems to be working ( just started to build up some bars on left of screen....at least it's not frozen :-)

Pls can someone post the recent MA indicator? the colour of the old MA do not change to red or green

@Patso, thanks. I stumbled on this strategy yesterday. I believed it has potentials since it has many followers. The entry rules seems to have change over time. Pls want are the relevant entry rules currently.

the abcd indicated the right direction in advance.
but there was a nfp report, and I traded on nfp basis.
I would not have traded on the basis of the nfp report.
now I have a loss.
nfp is not always sacred.
