So far, I try all pairs.

I check trailing stop loss that it works.


This ea has news filter. I enable only 'high impact' or 'RED' news.

It will pause the entry 6 hours before news event time.

It will pause the entry 4 hours after news event time.

Those are not for user input settings.


Server time which differ between broker to broker.

It will impact the news shown on the chart's comment.

I don't check the correctness of news time for each event.

news time may offset from actual event by -1h, 1h or 2h.

If more than this, please let me know.

i do a backtest for this year in EURUSD, TF 1M15, standard setting with lot size 0.1, init deposit 1000 USD, but then get MC.

What happens when you change the risk profile to something more in line with best practices? Such as .01 lots per 10,000.
seems to be bad idea for extreme lot size.

I'll fix this.

so next version will be

  1. martingale same as before, with exponent number you select default is 1.44
  2. it will not open more pair than "X" number you have set. e.g. if they are running live on eu ej au and nu total 4 pair, and you set maximum pair to 4 then the rest of the ea instances would do nothing until they have cleared those orders out.


Idea:

  1. Run two instances (different magic number)

    1. One is Long only
    2. One is Short only

  2. Entry rule must be overlapped for Long and Short.

traditional double lot or fraction increment is quite good for lower dd.

I just want to try something special in that _cf release. But turn to be worst idea ever.

here is the update.

Fix the extremely large lot size
fix active pair to 4 pairs including manually traded orders

In the setting if you enable LongShortOnly then Magic number will be added +1 e.g.
normal is 170000 then if LongShortOnly enabled then it will be 170001
Use normal one for either short or long the another one for opposite direction.

I suggest you use 0.1 * ATR(50days) as starting TP, it will give a much better result.

GBP will have 18pips while EUR AUD have 7-8 pips.

just give it a try, you will be surprised!

This EA should have a proper name, how about "Super Roach"? cause it's really hard to be killed by markets lol.......

There are big room for improvement on profit side, as you see $570 DD trade for $127 profit is not worth.

I have 2 solutions for it, may be could work...

1 from the NO.2 BUY or SELL orders, start counter trading.
For e.x., in the picture from NO.2 BUY, sell function started. From NO.2 SELL, buy function started.

2 Increase TP for all orders, this will increase DD as a side effect.

First trade 0.01 lot TP, =10 pips

next trade 0.02 lot TP=??

Hello imgotzaa, im trying your ea "Feb10v66c_fx"and think it will be a better ea if it can have a function to set sl. I notice that every time the ea triggered Martingale, it would lose a lot of trading opportunities during this period, and i consider any ea which has Martingale component will always have the risk of ruin. So i think whether it will have less risk when it is working if it has a sl at the previous pressure/support position and get rid of the component of Martingale. After all, i really appreciate your Feb10v66c_fx, it works good most of the time.

That's why i suggest from NO.2 order, start counter trading...so many pips can be caught during recovery time.
