hello, I have a problem with the software.If,for example, I buy 0.10 lots in mt5, then, if I buy another 0.10 lots, in mt5 (fisrt image) there is a single 0.20 lots,while in mt4 there are 2 lots of 0.10 (second image).
Can i have a single lot also in mt4?

Hi

It is normal in MT4 because MT4 does not average your orders whereas MT5 average orders in the same currency pairs. Unless you open one 0.2 lot in your MT5, the order on your MT4 will always show you several orders. However what is important is to have the correct size between your MT5 and MT4 terminal.
I been told that demo version is expired. Here is new demo version.

Please read quick manual to get going. As in previous version, it is straight forwards to use. Enjoy

Hi Auto. I just want to let you know that your copier works fine in Linux Ubuntu 14.10.

My current setup uses 1xMT5 -> 1xMT4 using demo accounts in two different brokers. The symbols in MT4 have a suffix "." (dot)

Thanks a lot for testing the MT5 to MT4 Trade Copier on Linux operating system.

You can also try more advanced setup like using 2 x MT5 -> 1 x MT4 or 2 x MT5 -> 2 x MT4.

I am using 2 x MT5 -> 1 x MT4 set up to provide buy and sell hedging system which MT5 alone can't fulfil this requirement.

It works great too.
For high frequency traders,

You might reduce CopyInterval = 20 or 30 to improve speed of copying operation.
You can even try CopyInterval = 10 or less, but check if your PC can maintain such a speed first.

you are using two separate instances of MT5 and copying to one MT4.? just as an experiment.?

HI Dave

It is not just an experiment.

I have around 10 EAs working from Meta Trader 5. 5 of them are specialized in buy markets and another 5 of them are specialized in sell market.

So I put 5 EAs in my first MT5 demo and I put the other 5 EAs in my second MT5 demo. Note that in MT5 demo, you are not allowed to open buy and sell at the same time in the same terminal. So I have use 2 x MT5 demo to 1 x MT4 live connection for my EAs.

I hope this makes sense.

Due to better strategy tester in MT5 and better EA development environment, many traders still prefer to use MT5 temrinals.

One drawback is MT5 termial does not allow to open buy and sell at the same time which is bad thing for traders.

So the MT5 to MT4 trade copier will help in this case.

Now we have changed the name of Lucky Pip MT5 to MT4 Trade Copier to Speedpro MT5 to MT4 Trade Copier.

Only thing have changed is name. The way our MT5 to MT4 Trade Copier works is the same as before. http://copymt5tomt4.ucoz.com/

So you can still use demo version 7.8 in previous post.
