I am very impressed with this translator. It has saved me from a lot of stress. I just wish I had found it earlier. I must also appreciate the author for the personal support he gave in installing and troubleshooting the live version after I purchased it.
Auto has supported me and reply to my queries quite fast despite the time differences. At point of buying live version, I asked him rgds the licence code which he hard quoted into copier to protect his product. I have no issues with that. My issue was what happened when I attached to 2nd mt5/mt4 since he said that licence code is generated whenever I attached to a terminal. I was also concerned over issues of shifting vps or when vps is down and I need to run on local PC maybe for the day before the tech stuff at the vps fix that. Of coz nobody will want that, but it did happen to me before
Now I hv an additional issues. I hv purchased licenced copy and used for my live roboforex mt5 to live IC markets mt4 accts. Works well (It was the ONE mt5 to multiple mt4 version still not the current trial version of multiple mt5 to multiple mt4 version). Now I hv a new signal I wanted to test drive from MQL community, to copy to my live IC markets acct.
Guess what?
1) It refused to work on Alpari demo mt5 and reported "product code does not match"! Auto assured me that it will work on demo without any restrictions (except restricted to 5 mt4, whilst live mt5 copier works with unlimited mt4). Thus trades were generated on mt5 but not copied to mt4 despite mt5 was demo acct
2) My live IC acct mql/files log (the data folder, files log) still stored the old trade data from my roboforex acct and it promptly created those trades into my mt4 (
later I realised that partially was my fault, coz I forgot to enter the correct path). Before attaching the mt5 sender, I deleted the log in the alternative path which I created to avoid the 5004 file error which I got the 1st time round. On Alpari mt5, I have specify the file path. This meant that if you FORGOT to delete those old trade logs (its named as positionfrommt5.dat inside the data folder/mql/files folder or inside the alternative path u created, eg, c:\ICM-1234\files). The copier will go ahead to create those old trades which has NO linkage to current orders on your mt5. Maybe it may override those, its something auto has to address!
Auto: I know everybody has different time zones, I would appreciate if you could fix all the licence code issues ASAP! I dont understand why your copier does not check that its demo acct and just dont check licence code? I hv placed my live mt5 sender on a demo acct, how does it not work? You wanted to protect your product, now the protection is working SO WELL that I cant use it anymore on ANY OTHER mt5 acct! (in case you wanted to ask, I am now using only ONE mt5 to ONE mt4)

Could u also look into the code and come out with some logic to read trade logs TALLY with trades from sender? I already highlighted that coz I accidentally forgot to set the path on my receiver mt4, it read the from my data folder/mql/files folder for trades that were created previously on 22/May!!!!
Pls think of CREATING one log per day (like what mt4i copier does) and tally trades by date, magic numbers, sender ID
I suggested output of sender's trader id for easy matching but you say that this will slow down the copier. Not so for mt4 copier from mti, its working fine, not much delay. If you output sender trade id#, sender ID#, etc on trade log, allow receiver to match by sender ID#, sender trade ID# against its own counter trade ID#, and magic number, it should be easier to match off and WONT generate rubbish trades into receiver
It should not be that user have to have very good knowledge of exactly how your copier works and have to figure out that I need to delete the old trade logs! (FYI, I did delete the trade log on the alternative path, just forgot to delete the log on my data folder path).
I am also surprised why it outputs to the data folder path when I placed alternative path for the mt5? That is, previously, I had roboforex mt5, and IC markets mt4 (both live versions). I placed the alternative path for BOTH mt5 and mt4. Thats why I only deleted the trade log found in the alternative path (since I specify this). But the trade log was also written into my IC markets data folder MQl/Files folder. Can you look into these issues and try as much as possible to make it painless and easier to manage to use the copier? Not rocket scientist here!

This contest acct was not the same mt4 that I first used to gen the licence key for the live copier, so licence issue is resolved at this stage.

Good to hear that you are on your way to your Meta Trader 4 competition using the good MT5 expert advisors. I will be certainly very interesting to hear your results from the contest at the end of the competition.
I started to copy my Alpari MT5 account to my another MT4 ECN broker account (So I added ".ecn" suffix on my receiver EA) . The trade Copier working well for 1 week and no problem.
The trade copier will of course work for single MT5 to multiple MT4 too.

Plus The previous issue was really initialization problem only for people using alternative path. It did not affect the people who can use original terminal path. Anyway, the issue is fixed even for alternative path. So even version 6.3 should be working for people who can use original terminal path. However, I will upload here the fixed version 6.5 for everyone. Use 6.5 version only it is latest and competed version.
