GBPNZD trading calls

130 pips for this pair is too small for a stop or a target, imo.

I see this pair going up from here. It won't go to 2.1000 in a week, but I don't see it going any lower than where it made its low today. That doesn't mean I have a stop anywhere close to today's low, but I don't think it will even break 1.9660.

NZDUSD has got to be at a top. If 0.8545 is touched I will have to re-evaluate, but I don't anticipate that happening. GBPUSD is another one. Fucker almost stopped me out today. Granted, it is a risky trade, but I didn't think we'd see another high above 1.6768 today. I did leave my stop where I put it originally, and thankfully it was not hit yet. Still confident this pair will break and fake soon.

But back to GBPNZD. Well, if you've read my posts in here, you know what I'm doing. If you want my advice, do what I'm doing. Hell, you could get in right now at a better price than I got in at. Give it about 300 pips to go against you. I really don't think it will. If this does turn here, there is a VERY good chance we will be seeing 2.1000 soon. And as I said in a previous post, there will probably be opportunities to add size as the trade goes our way. It could be a grand slam trade. So get your ass back in this pair right now, BogiFX!!

Yeah, eliteincome, I've had just about every pair out there teach me a lesson at one time or another. I'm just focused on this pair right now, because it seems to have great potential. Its not like I always trade it.

You gotta understand that we humans are not perfect. We need to give ourselves some room for error. It will usually go further against you than you thought it would, but that doesn't mean you have to lose that trade. Let the market completely prove you wrong. At the same time, don't get out as soon as you have made a few pips. That is a sure way to the poorhouse. Learn how to pick over 50% winners on 1:1 trades and you will be a winner. You can go for more, but don't make it so easy for just a little move against your entry to stop you out.

The drop in GBPUSD has started, as did NZDUSD. Now GBPUSD needs to break that low at 1.6582 so we can trigger a bunch of stops. I don't think GBPNZD will be going too far north until GBPUSD bottoms out below 1.6582, but you never know. NZDUSD might fall REALLY hard, which would push GBPNZD up even with GBPUSD falling.

I'm no economist, but I had a strong suspicion that the job #'s would be better than forecasted. Funny how the charts can predict the news!

I can see the big move going something like this. I think next week might start out slow for GBPNZD.

Well, we headed a little lower, and I am not very happy with my entry on GBPNZD. I've been avoiding FF and just concentrating on how I could do better in the future. I think the signs were there that GBPNZD would go lower when my order at 1.9800 filled. The signs were price action, but it was hard to tell. My opinion was that I might not catch THE bottom, but I am happy to filled at 1.9800 as long as my stop is not hit, and the target is reached. I did not break any r/r rules, but I feel I could do better in the future.

On the bright side, my short in GBPUSD is almost to the target and I have moved stop closer to entry point, as well.

Also on the bright side is that GBPNZD does appear to have hit the bottom today. ( I should have waited for a move like this and THEN bought, but I was scared I'd go to sleep and find the market had exploded (without me in it) when I woke up. I did not want to take that chance.)

I am excited for this anticipated move. It is hard to say exactly at this point, but with adding size along the way I figure I'll make over $40,000 on this trade, which would be a record for me. I'll be very glad to post a screenshot when trade is complete. This is not to brag. I lost my ass in this trading endeavor of mine, and have clawed my way back in recent times while never betting the house. I want to inspire all the losers in here that this CAN be done with hard work, persistence, and complete belief in yourself.

He is more proof that this can be done. I applaud this guy, and he has proven me wrong that fibs, ma's, patterns CAN work with very good results. I feel FF needs more traders on here that actually make a lot of money. It seems they are very hard to find. So many people on here are full of shit, and they are usually the ones that everybody's trying to learn from. I can really emphasize with all the traders on here that just want to see some actual traders making a lot of money.

This just looks like a VERY thorough stop run, in both GBPNZD and USDNZD. I have given the market leeway up to this point, as it was conceivable in my mind that this would happen, and now the market should reverse course or I will get stopped out.

If this does turn here, it is obvious that the relentless move we've seen in NZDUSD, and to a lesser extent GBPNZD, was a NASTY stop run AND PORTENDS OF A HUGE MOVE IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION!!

I am moving target to 2.2000. Yes, that is an additional 1,000 pips. The market will have to perform for me to stay in that long, but I can easily see this happening.

First, we NEED to turn very soon.

EDIT: I want to add that it is also fitting for a top in NZDUSD with NZ raising rates today. Probably doesn't make sense fundamentally, but's that's how this works most times. We got to see a strong rally off of a strong move, this wreaks of a major top (NZDUSD). Vice versa for GBPNZD.

Well, just took a 4% haircut on my account, so that sucks, but I am giving this one more chance.

Took a new long at 9452, and got a stop at 9380.

many retailer short on NZD/USD few hours ago. NZD has been strong, and nothing much from the US side. NZD broke the resistance area. Would you think it would come down soon?

I would. Look at where this bull run started (chart). The move shot up, right from the bottom. We had no solid retracement on that move. It came at a "weak" spot (didn't appear to take stops at that level). The move has been relentless. Stop runs like this always are, but this has lasted longer than usual. Picking a top on these types of moves is never easy, because the whole point is to take out as many levels as possible, but I think we must be at the top by now. There is blood all over the street (some of it my own).

I just don't see this going on much longer. I think it is done now, but I have been wrong for many days now on this pair. Still, I am long GBPNZD. Stop is still .9380.

Monthly Kijun sen (blue line) is 1,9367. It´s the last line of defence for the young bulls. We need a monthly close above.

There are weak buy signals in this ichimoku chart, (tenkan sen/kijun sen crossing and the chikou span might be going through the price),
but it has had a long downtrend, so, I wait for bottom picking. In april the chart will be clearer, to buy in a bear move.

NZD has a nice connection with the US stock market.

Lets have a look at the S&P 500.

Each candle represents 3-month.

See how easily it could be for price to be at 2.2000 (over 2,500 pips from where it is now) by end of May? That is not some crazy move that has never happened. Moves like this, and greater, happen all the time in this pair. We are due for one now.

The move down from 2.0224 has been super easy on shorts, meaning it's going back up. The market is crazy like that. Right now we're shaking out any weak longs. This is a sign that it WON'T come back here. That double bottom today was nice, and now it should NOT go back to that exact spot again. This really is the last line in the sand for bulls, imo. We go below today's low, and we'll see 1.9160-----but I really can't see that happening.

There's a lot of things I should have done differently in this latest trade of mine, and giving GBPNZD to 1.9380 instead of the low at 1.9450 was one of them. I'll make up for these mistakes, and get my revenge, if all goes well. The key on a trade like this IS ADDING SIZE as the trade goes my way. Not getting stupid, but not being a pussy either. In the markets, "Kick 'em when their down."
