Suggest delete the EAs, reinstall using this path.

1. Open the MT4 Trading Platform.

2. Select File, click on Open Data Folder.

3. Double click on the MQL4 Folder.

4. Double click on the Experts Folder.
Copy, paste your EAs into that Folder.

5. Close the pop up window showing the Experts Folder.

6. Close the MT4 Trading Platform.

7. Open the MT4 Trading Platform.

8. Click on the square with the + symbol in that
beside Experts. Your Experts should be in there.
If they are greyed out that means the code was
changed before you got those Experts or they no
longer work.

9. Select the chart they are to be attached to.

10. On the MT4 Trading Platform, select Tools,
click on Options, click on Expert Advisors.

11. Click in the square beside Allow automated trading.
Click in the first to squares beside Display automated trading.
Click in the sqaure beside Allow DLL Imports.
Click on Ok.

12. Select, right click on the Exeprt Advisor to be
used. Select Attach To Chart. Adjust the parameters
if needed, click on Ok.

My broker sent this email saying: "MetaQuotes has announced that from August 1 2014, MetaTrader 4 desktop terminals older than build 600 will no longer be supported. This means you will not be able to trade from terminals older than build 600, you likely won’t be able to connect to the server also."

Recently I am also noticing that after Indicators
are installed, and a grey coloured circle appears beside
the Indicator Name in the Indicator's Column, sometimes
that means they do not work or have also had their original code
altered.

Just take your expert or advisor and compile it using a separate older platform. Then copy only the ex4 into your platform.

I'm curious to know what you've decided to go to? Maybe I'll see you there. Even though I can still use this code with some hoops to jump, but I don't trust these people one wit and would like to try something else.

I do not know if mLaden is giving up but I am. The new builds have become more hassle than they are worth. Especially when a bug fix causes older bugs to resurface. My install programs no longer work due to the folder structure changes. All of these changes would have been more logical if they had simply kept the folder structure and changed file extensions. The almost 9 year journey had its ups and downs but this might be the death song of meta$%$#% if all of us support programmers leave. Without us they really only have a nice graphics package....

Hello my friend i just tested your batch on windows server 2003 and it doesnt work because i think flders are not the same as windows 2008 and 2012...

Could you please give me a batch file for windows server 2003 to prevent build 600 from updating? thanks a lot and best regards

No it doesn't work on XP/server 2003. I'll have another look at it.

Where do you find the "Sounds" folder in this updated version of MT4? I would like to add the sounds I had in the old version but cannot find where to put them in the new MT4 versions.

From your terminal, click File > Open Data Folder.

Some brokers put the sound folder in a different place.
Right click on the broker MT4 icon and select Properties.
Then Open File Location button.
That is where the sound folder is with FXCM on my platform.
On other brokers it is part of the Data Folder as mentioned.
Thanks, there was no sound file there. I also have FXCM so I will check the other way. Yes, it is there. Thank you again.

I just discovered this week this EA but after long hours looking for the latest version and after an error in which everything worked and reinstall another mt4 crashed I discovered and can be the solution. the dll files may not be the right, tests these.. it is inside - Trade ManagerEA_fxtr51 V8.6 - also - mt4gui.dll - and - mt4gui2.dll - to an earlier version that already in itself is very good and do not need the DLL -Trade ManagerEA_fxtr51 V5-

Hi, I am looking for the ea miniterminal that works for all broker
i see that some broker offers this expert but others dont
so, please help me to have a seperate ea version with this function for all the mt4 platform
