Hello,

I'd like to get some feedback about Alpari broker.

I'm about to trade on eur/usd/gpb/jpy. Mini or micro account.

Thanks.
I used to be schizophrenic, but now we are sane.

Alpari is great so far.

They don't have the issue anymore to close and reopen positions over night and you can have an account in USD, EUR, GBP and CHF. The minimum deposit is $200, the standard leverage 1:100, which can be boosted to 1:400. They want to offer 1:500 in some days.

Currently you can only transfer money using a bank account (wire transfer) but they want to offer a credit card deposit possibility soon.

Withdrawing doesn't cost anything.

I like them, they have good spreads (2 pips on EUR/USD, 3 pips on GBP/USD and EUR/JPY) and they have micro lots as well.

The only drawback is the spread widening during news, but that's normal I think. So you can have 20 pips on GBP/USD during GBP or USD news.

Regards - Xaron

I believe Northfinance is based on Belize and it's not regulated by any agency, and Marketiva is based in the Virgin British Islands and it's regulated by some agency, but neither both of them are NFA members. I would go with someone else if I were you.

if you can live without trailstop and exotic indicators, Oanda is safe.......but platform a little too simple......hardly any bells or whistles.

so far Alpari is among the best i've read about and suggested by others, but......i'm looking for a good one MT4 broker with the following criteria....

1) non-USD a/c
2) protection of clients' funds
3) pip by pip trailstop on the broker's server (okay, this one is very elusive....so far i read only FXCM has it but others say they're not very good......)

I would say that they are very serious in what they do. Sometimes orders take a few (2-3) seconds to get filles but it is ok almost all the time (a few pips (2-5) might get lost in the process. But most of the time the orders take only half a second to go through. I would strongly recommend it.Ciao
