Hi,
I wish to thank and appreciate, first, folks that have been of great help to the forexfactory community with their coding skills. Really great to have you guys around.
I hope someone could help me develop an indicator that displays the average and percentage change in volume and spread of price for the last X bars. The X being that I can change the variable for, say, 2, 3, 10 or 50 bars.
I am in dire need of this particular kind of indicator to help me in my trading. Inputs and comments are well appreciated.
Fred

Claudia, I should recommend you read threads incorporating the use of volume indicators to trade forex here in forexfactory. Threads like vsa with Malcomb14, trade using vsa started by Shamus and other articles written on VSA that litters the net should convince you of the efficacy of tick volume indicator as opposed to contractual volume used in trading futures. And thanks for the comments.

Thanks but I don't need to. I don't trade futures these days but there is no accurate indicator of volume in spot simple as that. I wish you luck.

Thanks and I hope you are doing great trading futures. I welcome contrary opinions regarding the use of tick volume indicator. The fact remains ithat its potential has been attested to by traders over 70 decades ago who used it successfully and by contemporary traders who still use it successfully.
