today's trades were not easy.
however it was based on htf analysis, it turned out alright.
1st entry based on m5 qm.
2nd entry based on h4 qm.

Price went wild and a slight red day for me. -0.8R, 3 losses and 1 win only

EU: TBH i think the peak was choppy and should not take trade, or if more aggressively, take 1 level higher as entry.

EJ: loss, simple

GU: loss. Was not the perfect pattern but traded because of nice RR.

UC: got QM at H4 time frame. There was another QM closer to peak but lower RR according to my rule at M15. Forgot to trade that due to early finish last week

very nice catch! You are a patient person and very familiar with the flow of market.

as of EU, price did not go right back to QM level and consolidating, LTF QM too small to profit (with predefined TP). Will keep an eye out

haha actually I didnt trade that level as the one in GU didnt play out nicely enough. I cancelled the order left a buy order somewhere lower but broken as the price dropped last night.

but in reality, both the set up in GU and EU would be wins

at times when i need some ego boosting i show only the higher time frame chart and some wonder why i can enter at the shadow of the candle.

So how do you determine when to close losing trades (SL)? Above the QM zone?

I wonder if the SL is a meaningful one if I cover the “very next swing higher” or a “value zone”
