Yesterday +240 points and few small losses.

so, we were talking about Pi and watched some videos, and boundaries, and found that, price will always stay inside these lines,
okey, can go one pip outside, but that`s it

okey, don`t know what to do with that info, yet

all materia is ball-shaped, planets, atoms, stars, and all materia is inside Pi, so, perhaps price is ball-shaped too, and that is why price stays inside Pi

I do have to say that this CrucialPoint-guy is something different.

It's not the same having the historical channel of the deviation than a picture of how it looked back in time right where the turn happened. So you need to change your i bar to aprox 30 and then aprox 70 to come up with conclusions. BTW, what are the mean and up/bottom devs?

Great, I did the same once, married Phi with Pi using devs.... The problem with Pi there is that is too wide. Also 288 bars is not daily to me... there are 20 5M bars in one hour multiplied by 24 hours you get 480 bars. But, if it works for you, then great.

just one thought about trading

every single day you can see someone stating something like: holy grail does not exist...you cannot be 100% right on every trade...and so on

so my question is:
How do these people know that?
They know, because they know everything?
They have tried every single thing what exists?
How do they know?
How can they be so sure?

it takes years to master something, like plumber, 5 years at least, but if you have been working 5 years as a plumber, you can`t say, i donīt know how to do this, i always make mistakes with pipes, nobody can`t do this ...you learn to do things right, if you really want to be a plumber
trading is a profession, like plumber is

Hello juhanimi,

Thx for replying in the rookie forum.
I see you are looking at price reaching high levels of SD which is measured with a z-score.
My interest there started with finding that first line in the "funny" picture.

Just in case you missed it as there was no activity for a long time:
Z-Score Kit @ Forex Factory

What you need is in the zip, tools to follow levels of deviation.
I hope to post more there soon.

The PI level is indeed very significant as an extreme filter.
It is so regular that one suspects routine program entries at that level.

With the flat candy indicator from the kit, one can also follow and record to file the high and low z-scores on a bar.
Very significant levels can be reached on a bar, but on the close the z-score itself may be back to more normal already.

If you use it with those greedy bands, you get the numbers right along with the action.
