Hi Alfonso and traders.

This is my first real set and forget trade on GBPUSD H4. I based myself on the trendline and the higher timeframes to deside to set and forget.

thx for taking a quick look at my chart.

USD CAD we are in an up trend, so i think this is a nice place (speedbump) to enter long

my trade finished at BE.

It was +50 pips so i set my sl to BE. Price is now where it should be..but without me. I will try to catch it after correction.

Hi Sebkor,

nice trade, you said, that price is now where it should be, but without you. If you did not got out at BE your initial SL would had been hit. Do I see this right?

we are secont time in weekly and daily supply area. I will try to catch some down move, after retesting h1 supply.

Congratulations Stefaan! I missed that short on H4 GBPUSD even though I had been expecting it for some days. We talked about it on this Monday's webinar, I placed a set & forget. The thing is that before the entry happened, there was FOMC news release, and my rules do not allow me to trade prior, during or after the news, so I missed that GBPUSD short. But well, that's life. I have to follow my rules, so next one!

I woke up a bit late today, I had set a limit order on the H1 short speedbump last night at 3 a.m when I got home (party), the speedbump is not the best formation (no blue candle, but nice departure so I wanted to try it), but price didn't make it, and then there was a new level this morning (I was late), and I couldn't make it there.

Nice! It was a valid setup on your broker and maybe others, but I do have the rule that for a demand speedbump to be valid, I need a red candle in the basing. Departure was not that great. Pity, or I would have drawn it. We must trade what we see on our charts, my charts didn't show a valid setup as per my rules. On yours I can see it did show a red candle, so I would have taken that one.

My entry is lower at 1.0447 on my EA. Not seen on my localhost charts, only at VPS.

daily supply level.

After trendline was broken (h1) i was looking for short.
Sometimes SL must be a little bit wider, especially when we want to change the trend.

If my trades have a good benefit, yes I will leave them. Else I will close all my positions. Sunday open gaps can kill you, so it all depends if my trades are up a good amount of pips, else I will close them. The limit orders that I have will be kept, if that's what you meant. I won't touch them.

I have a GBPUSD 1h short open.

There is going to be some high impact news soon for USD (Unemployment claims).

Should I exit my position before it happens, or keep it open?

Hi Traders,

Here is another trade I'm currently in from Alfonso techniques. I was having a set and forget trade on GBPUSD on Fresh Daily supply and it triggered yesterday morning before FOMC.

Finally, after waiting about 7 open days, I have some good trades in my favor. Patience is needed

Current: +124 pips avg.

Thanks Sebastien,

Alfonso really helped me a lot to not do "touch trades". I set and forget or wait for a good confirmation before entering in trades. Before learning his techniques, I was compulsive and that is very bad on trading.

Now that we are doing good, let's help Alfonso to help others, of course if he want us to help others
