Alfonso, i'm thinking of creating a sound plan. So I'm reading with interest your link from Set and Forget about 3:1 risk reward trading plan. There I see: "Before executing this plan you need to complete Forex Tester forward testing Stage 1 described above." . Below is about maximum risks and something. And now the question arises: why shouldn't I execute this plan before completing the Stage 1? Shouldn't I apply this risk requirements before the Stage 1? The Stage 1 is about forward testing by using Forex Tester.

Also I have a problem with the rectangle reader indicator. When it's installing, the following error pops up: "The output file could not be written. You may not have enough harddisk space or file may already started.". But I have plenty of disk space. What's wrong?

You have to press that that BLUE button, "Yes I want to subscribe", then you will get confirmation with the links to download and install.

Upon installation you might encounter problems with Windows UAC security if your MT is installed under Program Files, you won't have those problems is MT is installed on C:/ root folder. It's all explained on the confirmation email, many got it and did it like that, I believe you didn't finnish the process, there is one more step.

Read previous post to smallshark. It exlains what the problem is, it's also explained on the confirmation email where you got the links to download files.

As far as the stages are concerned, Stage 1 is Forex Tester. There is no other way to test the rules, it's not possible with Metatrader strategy tester since it does not allow muiltple timeframe analysis. So once the FT2 stage is completed, you should start with Stage 2.

I've even reinstalled mt4 to C:\ folder. Then I copy the ex4 file to MQL4\Indicators folder. And I have just the same error. What else can I do? I'm confused. I can even record a video how i do that, but I'm sure the problem is in something else.

My mt4 build is 625.

Also before installation it says: "Taget Folder(s): C:\Alpari Limited MT4, Program Folder: C:\Program Files\Set and Forget. Is it right that the Set-and-Forget installer copy itself in Program Files? I mean when it's installing the error pop up in the middle of installation and when I press "ok" nothing happens. I look at Program Files\Set and Forget\ and there I see a folder "templates" with "supply_demand_alfonso.tpl" in it. Why is it in Program Files? I put the "supply_demand_alfonso.tpl" to a folder "templates" in mt4 main folder which is in C:\.

And now it's like that:

But I'm confused if it has the full functional now after these manipulations.

As far as I can see, all seems to be fully functional. So no problems with it! It has to do with the installer and windows security issues. This is why the RR indicator is provided as an individual link to download when you sign up, in case you have these issues.

Let me share with you a post I submitted to the private community the 11th April about a potential H4 demand confirmation, I believe this will help many of you to understand what the confirmation type of trade looks like and when we should be waiting for it.

When do we wait for confirmation type of trades?

  1. When the HTF zone is too wide or is holding after a few touches
  2. We are too low in the curve and there is no clear level to set and forget our trades
  3. If you are uncomfortable by setting and forgetting your trades. You may miss many trades because they don't pullback to the level that would have confirmed the zone, but that's the con

The intial post was this:

  1. Potential H4 long at D1 non-fresh demand if descending H4 TL is solidly broken and we get a nice imbalance.
  2. We have compressed supply right above, that could easily be removed if we rally into it
  3. WK and D1 are ranging really, making lower lows and then higher highs

Today after 5 days of the initial post in the community, the trade happened and my answer was:

  1. As described in the previous post, the potential H4 long happened on USDJPY
  2. Classic H4 demand confirmation type of trade on USDJPY at D1 demand.
  3. H4 was over-extended. Buying against D1 demand is low odds, I just waited for confirmation as the rules say

This is my feedback. 3 or more CP patterns, you are allowed to draw a Trendline. It's been broken, your entry goes against the rules. Departure of that level you took is not good either, but the TL break is broken so no trade.

Hello Alfonso, I'm just watching your videos in sequence. But I'm not a native english speaker, so sometimes I understand something, sometime I don't. I'm using an automatic subtitles of youtube, it helps a lot, but often it doesn't. But I try my best. I just want mention of that problem, maybe I'm not alone with this problem. Maybe it's possible to make some subtitles, it would be really great. Anyway thanks for you videos and your great work.

I really want to get more clarity on the following issue - are those two the only valid Supply and Demand zones on the monthly chart of Eur/Usd or are there more valid zones in between the two ones (see screenshot) according to the Higher High/Lower Low principle -> "When is a supply or demand level confirmed as a level?

  1. We need that the opposing supply/demand area is taken out (absorbed) before we consider an area to be valid AND/OR price making Higher Highs or Lower Lows in the timeframe where the level is being drawn"

I am having difficulty identifying CP's. Is a CP just a pause in the price moves momentum? Does it have to contain a 50% basing candle?

Hello Jim,

There are webinars that show the CP patterns, there is another webinar that explains how to draw them. There are many types of CP patterns, it's a very versitile pattern, it's a pause in the market, but not all of them are valid, there are rules for that. Long to explain, there are videos that talk about it.

I can't make subtitles, there are quite a few webinars. There are like almost 10 times more in the private community. Default language is english, I just can't make anything about it, I would love to help but it's just impossible

Thanks for your message and your kind words. There are many levels of supply on EURUSD Monthly chart as per the rules my friend. Take a look at the attached chart and you will see a few more in yellow.

I am trying your methods on a demo account to gain confidence in the system.
I have a question related to priority of the rules.
I am strictly using D1/H1 combo. (I use monthly chart to assess bigger picture as well).
You recently posted a nice entry on USD JPY chart. I too spotted that entry using your rules. I faced little dilemma and maybe you could help me solve it.
On H1 chart I exited the trade once H1 TL was broken. After TL was broken, one area of H1 demand too was removed.
In such situation should I re-enter the trade when price hits H4 demand area? (Price did hit H4 demand area and up-trend was continued on H4).
My problem is, one of your rules also prohibits from entering in the middle of the curve (middle of D1 area of Demand of Supply).

I don't quite understand your question, sorry. You are saying that you are strictly using D1/H1 but then you are talking about H4, so I just don't understand. You didn't post any chart where you explain your thoughts and what you are trying to say, so it's difficult for me to tell you, sorry

No diddle in the middle yes, when in the middle of the curve it's not high odds. But the thing is, where are you levels? I don't see all the charts you used to make a decision based on the levels that you drew, so I can't really tell you. You may have wrong levels, you may thing you are in the middle but you are not, etc. I need to see those charts and an explanation on top of them of why you took the trade, what doubts you had and so on.

So I have drawn some levels, and what I just want to say is: I can't see levels which is tested less than 1 time. But they are not fresh in this case. I mean maybe I see some of them, but I'm in doubt. When I see that the price is reacting to a level, then I can know that the level is a real level. I think I need practising.

Well, another problem is that I often adapt levels to a next test. But as you said if a next pull-back was not reaching for a level, then it was not a real pull-back from the level. But I always think that it may be a real pull-back, there are no just a few pips.

Could you comment my chart, please? I'm in doubt.

USD/CAD recent H4 trade. Descending trendline broken, new fresh demand levels formed.....bam Half of the position banked, will let it run next week, ll see.

i watched your last webinar about how to draw TL and zones mechanically and the avi gave me good way to draw them, with those 6 candle stick patterns, i have tried and practice it on my chart after watching the video, Please have a look on my TL and zones
