It looks like USD/CHF is the one to sell today. Sold now (a bit risky before news, but well...)

Hey as i said i got a bit of drawdown for the previous trade, cause the news were too close...now it seems it's gone back to the levels before the news and that it will pump down the pair a bit more.
Personally i am more and more in love with this system (kudos to the author!!)... especially if used after a big move. You wait a retracement, and when it happens (more likely it WILL happen in the low timeframes like 30M and 15M) you wait for for the "Alex" MultiMA indi to confirm... and Boom!, usually few quick easy pips comes on the table.
For catching bigger moves actually i prefer the FxnewsAlert free tools by FiapFap member (testing right now), but maybe it's just me. Anyway sometimes bigger moves started with a previous big move and then a little retracement, so...

One last thing. Sometimes i would like to post some of my trades here (only the ones i took with this CSMA system) as i have already done; for discussion and for improving the system also, who knows. Of course the starter of the thread (thank again for your system) is allowed to do so..may i and anyone else too, or it's considered off topic? I think not but in spite being part of this "club" since time, i preferred to be a reader in the past instead than a writer, so, i ask for sureness.
Thank you.

Mmmm... almost all the GPB pair performed well, but this JPY pairs turned in a bad trade (at least for me...to much volatility). Now following the CSMA system it seems AUD/CHF is a good (re)entry after a little retracement. I am in selling it..let's see

Hi guys, recently i have been having less sucess with this system, and i have decided to not trade it anymore. It was working well consistently for some time, but for some reason the currency strength meter is becoming more and more inaccurate for trading.

I'm now trying out new and different strategies.

In my humble opinion, the "problem" with the CSM strenght meter is that is too..volatile in his changes. I mean,it's good, often for any kind of scalping (in trend, counter trend, bouncing from bollinger bands,etc...), but if one wanna more than 5-10 pips...mmm..many false signals. For example: estabilished up or down trend..but then a strong rebound. Just one or a couple of good rehersal bars in the rebound and the meter change completely bias (and colour).
Of course the moving averages and a bit of experience/good sense should save us from some false signals, but in a pretty swinging market the stop loss can be hitted frequently if too tight.

Hi,

I have read a lot of systems here. A lot of time same ideas into differents strategies.

I like the phrase : "It works, till it doesn't" (not from me).

1- I think the period of training is not long enought: volatility changes during the year. In the Forex i see seasonnality too.
2- Can you make a correlation with amarket parameter and the speed indicator (volume, volatility, ...) ?
3- The more i read, the more i am convinced that if you have a strategy with 50/50% on a very very long term basis (5 years ?), you then have to filter a little bit wors situations to be profitable. This is not "scalping", for sure. But scalpers don't do it everyday. I am quite sure the wait for best market "power" days.
