Can news out of one country affect another?

Yes, it does, but not all the time. Aussie/Kiwi NFP's effect the dollar as major institutions hold dollars in Aussie/kiwi dollars due to high interest rates.

Try to go back in time and see how the expected trade balance vs actual trade balance affects price for a real case scenario.

Hi Joey, perhaps a question would be why you would be looking at a chart to see what the news has done to it? Are you trading the news or do you have another reason for asking?
