Are there any IB agents for LiquidMarkets (old TadawulFx) here that will accept a minimum initial deposit of $1,000 USD to open a new Mini fixed spread account there? If so please IM me. I will give feedback about broker once account is opened in this forum. Thanks.

That's funny, the "mini account" needs an initial deposit of 2000$. I don't quite get it to be honest.

what do you mean? never seen an ECN broker? it's not uncommon for such a high initial deposit, just because brokers are becoming more and more competitive and offering lower deposits, that doesn't mean you should go for them. chances are they are taking the other side of your trade while lqdmarkets is actually matchmaking.

If a broker is offering fix spreads like liquid does then they are taking the otherside of the trade.
There is nothing wrong with a broker doing that (banks do it all the time) provided they offer you the price that reflects the true market and not their fantasy market.

brokers aren't as transparent as they used to be. clearly lqdmarkets is doing both. that's why they have a set of floating spreads account and fixed spreads account, which has nothing to do with the deposit and spreads. ECNs (matchmaking) tends to have lower spreads, but who knows, there's always going to be a crazy broker out there doing something they shouldn't.

this isn't the only example, there are many brokers that aren't as transparent as you would think(ie. exness, tradersway..)
