Can anyone tell why the previous signal was false? The answer is the signal is triggered near the trendline. Now check this one. Can anyone tell why it is a true signal?

PILATUS!!!

I red a long time this forum, i know you are trading by this system a lot. Would you so kind as you post to us your trades, all of it (looses and wins). and please explain us in a few sentences, why did you open that position... If you dont trade, if there is a regular singn, please post that, its very usefull, why did you miss that in that case.

Other ask: What kind of system do you use? (please post to me the forum adress, which is profitable, give us a much sign like that) I am looking for that system, which can be well profitable. I will learn it to use. The time and the work in connection with learning to use a new system is not problem for me.

I asked you, because you are not a shooting start in this forum, you think this job seriously!

Thanks!

Buddy thanks for your support))
I use this system and I use volume levels to get horizontal suport and resistance levels. It is not problem to post which signals are good and which are not, but, problem is that I can not do that constantly because I have a regular job. But I will give from time to time some posts with charts. I found that volume levels form CME futures makret are very nice indicators to get support and resistance levels. The other thing I use is fibb. I use fib on larger time frame like 1h, 4h and daily charts. Mayor levels are 38.2 and 61,8 fib. I realise that if I want to trade on daily basis can not expect to get 100 pips every trade, so I aim on 10-20 pips and there I close 70% of profit and let other 30% to run and I put B/E there too. Most of time those 30% I loose because of B/E but I do not care sometimes I get 100 pips or more when I get lucky and price continue to ride.
This system is good but I have some others indicators for entry. Find on google "pimp trading" and there you will have very similar system with MA but with better indicators to get entry. So I use from this system guppy and everything except MACD and Laguerre. And of course volume levels with indicators that plot levels on charts, everything about volume you can find on "trading-evolution.com", there you have data to download every single day and indicators which will show you those data on charts.
Now I am momitoring "multi time frame rainbow trend follower" indicator and is very useful. Thanks for that indy to trader which upload it here.
Hope I helped and if you have some question feel free to ask. So my charts look like that:

Hi!
well this is not really a system, it is rather theory how to trade with help of volumes used from CME for futures currencies. It is not even VSA(volume spread analysis), it is volume by price used to get real support and resistance levels on which I look to have our tf5min system signal, so I use this system but only if I get tf5min system signal rebounded from those volume by price levels.
Those levels and indicators for mt4 you can get for free from www.trading-evolution.com site and update everyday. You will notice how big volume levels act as support and resistance levels.
Next, I really do not believe that spot forex market is moving because some bank or fund is trading or betting that price will go up or down, but I do believe that futures market (CME) is place where mentioned institutes place orders and that futures marrket lead fx spot market.
In other words, if price for EURO on CME is moving in one direction exact same move will make eur/usd pair. If you ask me, no one is trading spot market and lot of system you can find on forex forums are mostly made by brokers which like to get you as much as they can into trade, but honestly I doubt that they really transfer your order to interbank market, they rather buy if you sell and then wait to loose your trade because of high leverage that you have and they know that you can not stay in trade for long time. If it is true that 90% of all traders of spot fx market loose money those lose go in their pocket.
Conclusion!
Trading spot fx is wasting time and money if you do not have access to valuable information. Only valuable information I found is volume which is traded for real on futures market for any instrument.
But fortunately we have futures for currencies and volume for them and if I see good oportunitiy on futures for example gbp I will trade gbp/usd on spot fx.
Hope I helped.

Apologies if covered elsewhere in thread.

I take it that the pinpoint entry is a break of the low of the bar creating a sell signal or a break of the high of the bar creating a buy signal.

Assuming all the other indicators and criteria are in alignment.

Is this correct?

You could always build in volume (tick or futures) analysis as an additional layer of confirmation to validate a signal...

Hi Pilatus,
Your recommendation surely looks positive. I however have been searching 4 the indicators at evolution blog without success. The blog is written in Russian. This does not allow English speakers to understand how actually volume levels obtained from the futures market can be used to establish strong and valid S/R in the FX market. Also obtaining volume levels at CME proved abortive. Can you pls post the indicators you use here at FF.Pls., enlighten on how you obtain volume levels on currencies from CME.
Thank you in advance.

Sorry. I searched "pimp trading" but did not find valuable information. typing errors?
Another aspect of this system is "Trend". TF5min is published in 2007, and before, about 1 year, there was a strong trend, as can be see through EUR/USD. The Trend of EUR/USD and other non-USD is upward, so I can guess the asymmetry of parameters of Laguerre (0.15 and 0.75) is due to this matter--market is more willing to go north. At present, there are more chop-chops. If we compare the daily chart of EURUSD and Dow Jones index, we can find that the trend of latter is better, so I guess it will be more profitable if we apply TF5min to stock index.

If we find an opportunity on higher time frame, for example 4H, we can looking for entry in lower time frame, here is 5min. If we minitoring more lower timeframes, it seems that if we willing to enter, we can find an entry in some timeframe chart according to the rules of TF5min. I am planing to write a .mq4 for 2min and 10min (double of the chart time-frame). Sometimes, there is not valid signal in 5m chart, but maybe you can find one in 15m chart. Considering the moving as EUR/USD 15min at today's opening of the European Market, it seems that break out the range is more better than MACD and Lag. Any of your comment about this is appreciated.

Pilatus and the folks who are forward testing/live trading, can you please give me a sense of the typical duration of your winning trades? In how much time you are generally able to hit the exit (based on this strategy's rules) and profit target?

Sure buddy!
First of all sorry on late answer. Next, blog is in russian but there is a forum for english speaking world, so go to that site and go to forum and there you will find information. When you get on trading-evolution.com site there you will have on right upper side "evolution program", click on it and you will get another site where you can get from left side last data for volumes. Download all three data somwhere on you pc and extract them. Next, go where your mt4 is installed and go to mt4, experts, file. Next open in file 3 new folders named:evolution-histogram, evolution-levels, evolution-options. Those data which you extracted copy in those new folders. I recommend you to install BROCO mt4 because there is futures too for curencies otherwise you will get wrong volumes for wrong pairs because euro futures is not exactly the same as eur/usd pair on spot forex, there is a 2-10 pips soemtimes even more difference. Those indicators bellow in attachment copy to indicators folder on your new broco mt4.
Once you made all this open a futures chart for euro for examle. Futures name for euro for current contract period is 6AH1 find it and open it. Put indicators from attachment on chart but make sure that when you put indicators check "allow dll......" in common tab. When you finish you will get volumes and levels on your chart. YOu need to clear and put every day new fresh data. It takes 5 min before you open your broco mt4.
I use broco mt4 to see good oportunitiy and enter in trade on spot fx on my interbank broker mt4.
I use the volume levels to see it there is rebound form some levels on chart and if thats match tf5minsystem with signal I enter a trade. Otherwise I do not trade 5mintfsystem.Why????
Because that is good filter to see if signal was good according to support and resistance levels. I do not believe in MA's as a moving support and resistance levels. In fact I do not believe in any indicator package from mt4 as base to enter a trade. For me that is 50:50 trade oportunitiy, like are stochastic, MACD, MA's etc. I also recommend a book "mind over markets" as good starting point for trading with volumes.
Hope I helped.

Hi pilatus, nice to meet you here, I am new here and I would like to ask you few questions for quick start..please help

You said that "This system is good but I have some others indicators for entry"
.. does it mean that you use additional filters on top of 5 mins trend follower for entry? so it deviates from the original system.. may I know whether the original system is not consistently profitable enough such that you need to add filters? before and after using the "pimp trading" filters, how many trades and pips do you have on average per week? you said that you still have a regular job, so which timeframe do you trade most? the timeframe in your regular job does not generate enough signals for trading? thank you in advance..
