Thanks RJ, especially due to those coffee sessions I'm sure. I'll bring the chocolate biscuits next time! Considering I had a 20 pip target which became a 30 pip target and can't help being a 50 pip target lately I am very pleased. As account grows I may have to stay in a trade a little longer. That was just a huge blip upwards that I could have happily managed with!!!! Must be China news surely?

Not sure what the cause was Jamz....I note that the micky mouse rating agency S & P are spreading doom and gloom about further recession coming......I don't know why anyone pays any attention to S & P......they must surely be the gutter trash of the rating agencies.

Anyway...here is the EA Daily. It has struggled to get over the line....so....is it going back into it's shell, or is it going to explode out?........now if we knew the answer to that question!!

For those of you who haven't been able to post here due to the vouch limit I have placed on the thread....now is your chance to apply for an exemption. The third week of M15 testing is done. This hasn't been a great week for me because I have had a lot of stuff going on that has kept me away from the charts.....and the big move generated by Bernanke was at the wrong time for to take advantage of. However, this is real life and this is the way it is!!

Here are the quick results of week 3.


Number of Trades Taken: 8
Win / Loss rate: 7 / 1
Biggest single trade gain: +117
Biggest single loss: -35
Nett profit: +338 pips
Average pips / day : 67.6

RJ they are great results.

What you have shown my friend is that you can have a busy week, as we all do from time to time, checking the M15 PA where possible and still make a fist full of pips. Well done.

Thanks...the results are better than I expected given the lack of attention I could give it this week, so that's quite pleasing. Quite a few trades never really eventuated on the M15, but they would have been worth 25 - 50 on the M5.

Still, this week concludes the test and then I'll put a document together with my findings....but I can already see another test coming as a result of this test!!

Long time lurker here! I did follow the Genesis Matrix from day 1, but I couldn't get a hand on this tricky thing called TIME for doing some home test, paper trading, and eventually some real live trading. I'm happy to share that from now on, I will be out of the shadow and will help the "Family"

I did begin some testing and some homework beginning of June. I will gladly share them with you over our long journey to the holy green pips land! First of all, a trade I did take last Friday on GU :

I did enter under the DP, with matrix all red and 3 on 4 arrows (M5 M15 H1). I also had HTF Arrows (D1 W1) on my side. The good stochastics signal would had been between FF and LO, but DP was in the way, so I waited for a better opportunity. I probably should have aimed for the pivots, but i'm still learning the move the SL back to BE. Comments are welcome!

Any positive trade is a good trade...that's for sure! Personally I don't like trading GU, but that's just me.

When I trade, I always have a target, and in your trade it would have been S1. Now, right before you entered that trade, if it was me I would say to myself, 'So RJ, you have made no pips today (for example) and this trade looks good.' So I enter the trade and set my target at S1. When I contemplate an exit, I have to have a reason to exit, just as I had to have a reason to enter. Where you exited, I see no valid reason to exit at all. If I was concerned that the PA might reverse, and there is no sign of that in your trade, but if I was concerned I would go the BE +1 pip......but still target S1. If the PA does reverse and knock me out for +1, well that's still one more pip than I started with, so I still win. If I *do* see a valid reason to exit, I will do so, but in your trade, there was no reason to exit so I would have gone to BE +1 to remove all risk, and then stood my ground until S1 arrives, or a valid reason to exit early.

I got knocked out of 2 trades last week, at BE +10 each time......if I had have exited early I could have had +25 on each of them but there was no reason to exit that I could see. The news knocked me out, but I still had more pips than when I entered, so it was still a win. My targets were about +45 each (more or less), so if the trades had worked they would have paid well......they didn't work, but they still paid..........win/win

Did you take the M15 EU short at the EURO open? I know it was above DP but is now through. The M30 Stox and the M15 Stox were both aligned for a good HPT.

I'm short and stop now BE+1 (currently + 16). Like you said I cannot see a reason to get out yet.

Nope.....I didn't take that one because of the DP. Be interesting to see where it goes now

EU M5 might be turning over to give us a sell signal under the DP.................we'll see....but yes a very quiet start.....time to cook dinner while nothing is happening...a nice rib fillet on the BBQ....mmmmm
