I stayed out too. Interesting how there was no whipsaw, and UJ had a nice and steady build up to the upside with Genesis signalling the right way again... oh, hindsight...!

LOL...yeah...that 20/20 hindsight!! As you say, no whipping around this time, but other times it can swing 100 pips both ways before settling on a direction.....I prefer my coffee nice and calm......so does the keyboard!!

It looks like it's going for it.....I'd be surprised if the DAX doesn't hit a new high very soon.....

Well I suppose that mister market is going to digest this and have a think about his next move. USDX has double topped perfectly, but we'll have to wait for the Daily to close before we know for sure. Even if it does close down a bit, it's too soon to read anything into that.....so next week might be interesting.

For me though......and that cat (lol)....it's time to sleep.

Thanks, I'll look at that. I had removed the 80/20 lines from my Stoch just so I wouldn't get hung up on that but I will put them back and recheck my trades.

UPDATE: I just remembered with the "in-depth analysis" that I did, almost every single trade had the M15 stoch above 75 or 80 before the setup and between 50 and 75 at the signal, and the M5 stoch was between 20 and 50. Forgot about that!

I have modified a pivot indicator that can be adjusted for a different GMT setting. I started with some very good code from Elton Treloar, and then added some code from the Pivot Manual ActionForex and a few other things.

My current broker is GMT +0 so I set the Start Hour to 21. If you choose to Show Comments, you will see the High, Low and Close being used to calculate the pivots. If these numbers are not close enough to Action Forex, or what ever source you use, you can edit them in the settings, although usually the only one I have seen that may need adjusting is the Close value. At the end of the forex day, or if you restart MT4, these values will reset internally to Zero which will then reset the high, low and close, even though you may see a different value in the settings if you changed it. Also there is an option to show yesterday's high and low values. There are also options to shift labels left or right of the current bar. If the shift right value is greater than zero it will always use that regardless of what is in the shift left value, so make sure that is set to zero if you want to shift the labels to the left.

Hope it helps someone besides me. I have not tried it on brokers other than +0 and +3.

I'm still working on trying to shift my ADR values back 3 hours.

There's no absolute rule here Eric. sometimes the PA will defy every rule that we have, just because it can!! It's a good rule of thumb though because on long and powerful trends there are always slight pullbacks in the PA, but often the stoch is not really interested, so we are fairly sure that what we are seeing is just a pullback and not a trade-able reversal. If the move is going to yield a decent amount of low risk pips, we will see that in the stoch as well as our other indicators......
