$220 to $3000 by end of 2012

This is a challenge I set for myself. This is a journal for me to learn from my own mistakes and reinforce good trade habits. Account balance at the end of yesterday $240.89

The market was in range mode. My brain was in trend mode. I should have suspected this and switch to range trading... Well I paid the price for this slipup. Acc value is $203

Only 1 trade today. Acc value $214.23

i can see your falling into the newbie trap of trading low timeframe in search of making quick bucks........trust me u will not reach $3000 if u continue doing this.....

Thank you for visitng my thread. I am trading short time frames to avoid news event risk inherent in long time frame trading.

2 wins and 1 trade that I lost control. Account took a major hit. Acc value is now at $150.

I like your determination, it is important in this business. But I know how hard it is to achieve the goal you have set your self. your acc is too small to trade like this every day on these small tfs. There is however one system that I think can help you achieve this goal. Check out Paulus' ''1 Minute 1 Trade'' thread in the trading systems. If you stick to losing 5% or winning 15% OF ACC BALANCE for each trade, your acc can literally survive 20 straight losses, though it is not very likely that you will get straight losses. You will need to win 1 out of every 3 to remain profitable. And the beauty of it is that even if your acc is as low as $50, it can work.

Turning $200 to $3000 is possible but I'm affraid to tell you there is much more chance not reaching your goal so quick so easily
