Anybody With FastBrokers?

Hi Folks.

Does anybody here using Fast Brokers ? I was thinking opening an acct with them because they work with LMAX and you only need 1/4 of the sum to open up acct with.

Besides, they don't seem to play games with their customers as they just pass orders through DMA (according to them).

What do you think? Share your opinions, pls.

think there a IB for fxdd

AFAIK, its exactly the same as with lmax directly. Money goes directly to lmax, as do your orders. The only difference is you can use their software (but you could also use the lmax web-platform if you want). They are just an IB, meaning they cannot access your money or get access to your orders - they just find clients for lmax and get compensated for that.

I think there is a lot of wrong information related to the IB registered in the US, so let me clarify a little the topic.

Fastbrokers has its own technology which connects directly to multiple ECNs like Currenex, LMAx, to name a few. Based on their registration status they cannot accept customer funds direclty has they have no clearing registration.

So they use clearing brokers to clear their customer trades, however that does not means that if they make you deposit with a certain broker you will be using the same retail feed the broker offers. It's a quite different setup than the referring broker working for a referral fee. Everything, from support to trading and accounting is made by them, so you'll have little or no communications with the clearing broker as you will be dealing with them.


Also consider they cannot take risk on trades indeed because of their registration, so are neither market makers or can run a dealing desk.
There are many IBs in the US like them, all running their legitimate shop.

Interesting and unique offering. You can sign up for different forex ECN feeds (also OEC futures) and combine them all in one platform to get access to even bigger liquidity. Some other cool stuff too including a free API.

Their Pathfinder platform has an awesome DOM but mediocre charting imo. If you can live with that then go ahead and give em a shot if you want. They're a legitimate/regulated IB.

I've chatted with a trader here who went with them. He says some good things, but is stuck on their implementation of LMAX feed through MT4 as they don't have it on pathfinder yet (which they plan on putting through soon..)

No other complaints from him on the company.

I read the story and it's not about Fastbrokers (I don't even know why they're mentioned), but about a trader being sued by FXDD instead over some trades...

Fastbrokers is an independent IB connected to multiple brokers and what's cool is that their Pathfinder Trader platform connects to all of them including Currenex, LMAX and other non-dealing desks. I've been using them from some time already and I'm very happy. Platform is great, I suggested them to add more features like range bars, breakeven, etc and they said they are always improving it.

Anyone know which FCM/RFED(s) they're clearing their Currenex and Integral feeds thru?

Maybe you had this conversation a while ago...I don't personally use LMAX but as far as I can see on the lmax thread there are people using the LMAX feed on their software..
