Hi fxtradex25,

Thank you for pointing that out. The support and resistance indicator you mentioned does not work on my mt4 platform. I'm using the latest updated mt4 version so I don't know what is wrong but it just won't work so I went ahead and just traded that.. ouch! It looks too good to ignore and now my hands are burned lol

Guess I still have a whole lot to learn.

Try to upload that indicator in demo account and trade divergence with that indicator, Sure resistance/support indicator gives you good trades.... happy trading

You nailed it on the head fxtradex25. I would have critiqued this trade the exact same as you. There are multiple indications that this is a retest of broken support that was rejected with confirmations of candlestick analysis. This is not a good divergence trade, this is exactly how not to trade divergence that has broken support. This was a great chart to learn from if you are new to divergence.

On NU trade set up:
• My oscillator of choice is Stoch 833, which showed no clear divergence on those candles. However it did show divergence on following HH's, which also failed, maybe because there was no immediate reaction. Either way, 100% wins (without use of a time machine) is probably out of the question. Having a positive R:R should keep you in the game.
This is UJ on H4. I took this hidden bullish divergence trade yesterday @ 121.30. After a day and half of price not reacting, and breaking previous days low, I bailed loosing 50p.

At the beginning of last week, there was bullish divergence (blue TL's) that worked out. Risk was about 65, reward 91.

This is buy on AJ H4, after spotting Bullish Div, also from yesterday. Entry marked with white arrow. Took of 1/2 of trade with +50. Remainder at BE.

i only trade when divergence is confirmed in both rsi and stochastic(high probability), yes individually rsi and stochastic gives their own divergence signals if both the indicators show the same divergence then take the trade.

In the above chart NZDUSD the divergence occurred at normal zone there is no resistance/support.

Better to opt divergence formed at verified or proven resistance/support zone and that divergence should valid in both RSI(10) and stochastic(15,5,5). so that you can avoid false signals

Thanks for your reply!

But im using the indicator from piptime (support and resistance lines), its appeared one resistance level when i see the divergence on RSI.

I will try combined with stochastic to see my results.

Looks like bearish divergence to me. The entry would have been about .6814 imho. The rub is that red Nzd news comes out 3hrs from now.
