AI has always been something that's interested me... and every so often I see threads pop up with EA's claiming to be neural network based, but most are either poorly written or aren't actually NN at all... (heck, a lot of the non-free EAs that claim to be NN just put on a fancy show and don't rely on the neurons learning much at all, using a MA strategy as a heavy bias on the hidden layers and leaving very little up to the NN to learn.)
So I'm curious, anyone here actively work with NN computer programming? What's the current state of this school of thought within AI space?
I'm not looking for EAs, paid or free... so much as the tools needed to write my own indicators based on learned patterns.
