I'm sorry, but I don't know how to fix this, at least not without being able to see the mq4 file that you're trying to compile. All of my old indicators and EAs compile OK using the build 509 compiler.

Maybe one of the programmers who's more familiar with MQL4 build 600+ can help.

[EDIT] I think you might be trying to compile an 'old' indicator using the current compiler.

I can't message new members either, until their post count reaches a certain number (5? 10? I'm not sure).

Anyway, all of the indicators and EAs that I've shared publicly are listed in the 'Hanover MT4 indicators' section in post #1. Most of the links contain comprehensive instructions, and you should be able to figure anything else out by experimenting yourself. If you can't get an indicator to work, there are plenty of other third party MT4 indicators around to play with.

Thanks MaryJane (sorry, I can't find a 'blushing' emoji to insert here).

I read a recent comment of yours about selling EAs as being "too much hassle for little money". I totally agree, even if the code is bugfree, the programmer can spend many hours troubleshooting alleged issues whose cause eventually turns out to be broker or market related, or because the user failed to read the instructions properly.

I wish you every success with your Margin Trader EA.

Pivots dashboard

Took an old RSI dashboard of mine and converted it into a pivots dashboard. The screenshot shows the weekly pivots only (the default colors match one of Davit's more widely used pivot indicators, available here). The dashboard allows the trader to quickly see which pairs are most OB/OS according to weekly (or whatever TFs you choose) fibo-based pivots. Settings allow you to customize currencies, pivot timeframes, colors, location on chart, refresh frequency etc. All parameter settings must be separated by commas.

PositionSettings are: window, corner (TR=top right), horizontal position, horizontal adjustment, horizontal spacing, vertical position, vertical spacing

Colors: list alternates between value and color. Up to 25 colors permitted. Colors are the colors used to print the value if it's between the values on either side of the designated color, e.g. 78,Lime,61,Magenta,38, means that if the pivot value is between +78 and +61, it will be printed using Lime color; if between +61 and +38 it will be printed in Magenta; etc.

DisplayMask is explained in OutputString = NumberToStr(n,"mask") section here.

RefreshPeriod frequency explained here.

ParameterFile: As an alternative to using MT4 templates, you can save your settings in parameter files. More info in the "Parameter Files" section here.

Other settings are hopefully self-explanatory, or can be discovered using a little experimentation.

Doubtless there are better pivot dashboards around, this indicator isn't designed to be state of the art (there are no alerts, fancy buttons, trading functions, etc). It simply does what it does, take it or leave it.

NOTE: This indicator was written using MetaEditor/compiler build 509. If you want the .mq4 source to compile/run without errors, you'll need to do this first. Otherwise, download only the .ex4 file.

Update to indicator in post #1276. New settings:

Pairs - you can now select the individual pairs that you want displayed. Simply leave Currencies at its default setting (no exclusions) and then delete the pairs you want to exclude from the list of Pairs.

BullishCurrencies, BearishCurrencies - you can use any type of analysis of your choice** to determine which currencies (not pairs) are bullish/strong or bearish/weak, and the indicator will display either a green up arrow (bullish) or a red down arrow (bearish) alongside each pair. You can type the currencies separated by commas (e.g. EUR,GBP,USD) or simply use abbreviations following a plus sign, without the commas (e.g. +EGU). Then pairing a bullish and bearish currency will cause a bright green/red arrow; pairing a bullish/bearish currency with a neutral currency (not included in either list) will cause a dim green/red arrow; pairing currencies with opposite polarity will cancel each other and cause no arrow to display.

[** For example, if you think Kathy Lien is knowledgeable, and you are too lazy don't have time to perform your own FA, then you could simply use this.]

So now if you have a green arrow, and a green pivot value (using the default colors), then the pair is "oversold" while fundamentally bullish, effectively a buy setup. Conversely, a red arrow and red pivot value would mean a sell setup.
