Yes I just checked on Vantage and yesterday did close a small green HA candle on D1, not on my live Pepperstrone account though.

As you said it's due to the 1 or 2 hour difference between the 2 brokers closing/opening time.

Also, I don't really understand how tick value modified is working... I've been looking through the thread and couldn't find the explanation...

Cause I am at work ..... I need to explore a brooker with web access..... and how that works......

Like if I have my MT4 up at home with the EA running - and make a web-trade will that show up on my MT4 ?

So as I have said before HB, my life is not forex freindly just yet -

But yes - I bet you get a good pullback over the next 4 hour (just a guess)

Yes, we're getting a nice little push now. That's what we want, a good move away from the 100 sma right at the start and then just leave it to do it's thing for as long as it takes to come back and test it. By the time the first pullback forms the first trade should be at break even or better.

Well done, are you setting a take profit or are they partial take profits?

Had a few s/l hit today. 3rd time lucky with E/U, SL, BE the stopped, BE and running.

E/J second time got to BE, Eur/Aud and Gbp/Chf going well.

When the stop loss EA kicks in must I leave it running for the due of the trade or must I make adjustments as the trade progress in my favor - still a grey area there for me.

Sorry, didn't answer the second bit. Tick Value Modified just tells you how many lots to risk on each trade. The settings I use are 50 pips at 3%. You can vary that if you want in the settings. It also tells you the spread of the pair you are looking at. It's calculated using the closed balance not the equity.

Yes, it should be possible to place a trade using a mobile phone or whatever device and then your home pc will deal with the stop, etc.

What job do you do, can you take a laptop to work with you?

I could train the wife to make a trade maybe - but then she might stop cooking and figure out how many dollars this is translating too..... That’s not good for anyone, is it? Imagine the shopping.....

Previously I was advocating trailing the stop more aggressively as the trend develops but after back testing I believe it will be more profitable long term to just trail the stop behind the 100 sma and leave it. The only thing you need to do is look for add on trades.

Yes, usually I would trail the stop 20 pips behind the 100 sma and use the close on ma function to close if the price closes the other side of the 100 sma. Would have saved me some money this morning if I'd had a pc on. Nevermind.

I am looking at the idea someone posted a few pages a ago about using the 100 sma of the high and the 100 sma of the low as a channel and trailing behind the opposite side of it for 10 pips or so. I like the idea of that, a moving channel of support and resistance.

Audusd has been a little choppy today but seems to be moving down now.
