I didn't think the idea was to have a basket everyday, although some of the new followers are thinking like that. If you read Bob's paper on Monthly & Weekly Pivots, the idea is to get into a trend and hold it as price action takes you from one line to another line, works well, see some pips here.

where are the Pitbull profits? this is your thread and you guys can't even post any ha ha ha

Wow oh man.. you are truly the king... wow, impressive comments and out of this world contribution... plus so nice to boot. You truly have it all... impressive. Man you are a super hero trying making people look small whilst you are so cool... we are truly not worthy of such great a presence.

Erebus, seriously mate, grow up. So you made a profitable trade, big deal! Please respect the request not to discuss NB's methods here. There is a thread dedicated for that, so go on, go play with your friends.

Why has this thread been moved to the commercial section?
Ignored
I don't know why it is moved but SteveHopwood is a commercial member here on FF and i see someone are promoting his website here in this thread so that may be the reason.

If that's the case, they should rather remove the poster, Erebus, since hes trying to hijack the thread with his childish comments and constant references to Steve's Forum even after asked to stop discussing the matter.

I hope this thread will be moved back to where it belong. Thank you.

Hi, CW

in Steve's website, there is a cool indicator thread (they use it in NB 10.2 too).

stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=629&hilit=baluda

(it is not linked so that i'm not promoting, hoho)

the 1st and 4th indicators look quite matching your style.

it is a table showing multi-currency's strength (by price change slope)

thought it is convenient for pitbull traders. maybe......

You are making two assumptions that is so far from reality!

1.) You assume that all of us on this thread using the pitbull method or concepts thereof are wrong.

There are traders including myself that uses the methods discussed in this thread with success on a live account.

2.) You assume that you are right and your way, even though its not your own work, is the only way to trade.

To be so ignorant and close minded, makes me almost feel sorry for you. Seriously man, expand your mind. You will become a much better person if you do.

It seems like this thread won't be moved back. I would like know why this is the case.

I have been using a few of the techniques, especially when I make a poor trade.

I didn't grasp enough of the system yet to do a lot with it....

One idea I had was to use the techniques to develop a very large position, I have not been able to pursue that as I do not understand it enough.

On the videos you can see that he is developing a large position as the days pass.. I am not able, yet, to juggle things well enough.

Many have moved on, this is what happens after they learn something doesn't work for them.

Try the Jem's Uber Basket Trading Thread, very similar to this, as it is trading a basket - the difference being, you know before placing a trade which are the strong / weak pairs, therefore, you always trade with the trend, you have entry & exit points well defined, & you actually make money, and the thread doesn't die, members have posted many great results but make your decisions - just like own your own trades!

Hi my pit bull demo is not in TE now as nobody responded so I think this thread has run its course.

Anyhow I have uploaded another account into TE. I don't trade it with pit-bull but by all means take a look.

Right, tell me why is it all through every thread with Shm!tbull, is it that everyone trades DEMO?

We all know the answer, it is a rhetorical question, don't worry about defending yourselves, just keep on playing with it and I'm sure you will all see it one day

Hi Erebus,

Thanks for the recommendation but I have been a member of that forum since the beginning and have followed that thread and Jem witch has done a great job there, I really really like it.
But I have also been around here since the beginning of this system and think it has legs.......no such thing one is better than the other.
No such thing of jumping from one tread to the other to find the super system cause after 20 years you know that all systems are only as good as the trader that trades them......and one little new idea can be gold for one trader and garbage for another, so as long as we are all testing and tweaking.....we are always learning....
Only the traders that give up and are looking for the holy grail jumping form one system to another never make it........cause they always give up....and don't seriously work hard on an idea, any idea...
Me personally I like to take ideas from different methods and create "my own" or improve my system witch I traded for 15 years now......you can always evolve....I took one little idea out of Brijons teachings that has seriously gave me another dimension to my trading.
It is only normal that every one has there opinion.....I used to trade for a bank ....we where 150 traders......we where all trading differently, one would go long the other short on the same pair and in the end according of the way each managed the trade we both made money.....so there is no such thing ....right or wrong....
Right know I am working on a method that blends Jems and Brijons...methods.....in one system...you never know.....
Common guys this system can go very far......

I think you might be quite right, a blend..

The system in this thread has actually increased my account, I think with more study I can do a better job on it..

As I mentioned in an earlier post, it seemed to me that Brijon added many units to his account in a week or so, I want to establish how he did that and also balanced the drawdown so that it was positive....

Once I learn that one.... the sky is the limit.

Today I will attempt to build a decent sized position starting with 10 pairs...

If I have success and gut a huge position, I will be glad to tell you.... and if I blow it....... hmmm I will be humbled and silent. lolol

The biggest concern I have is the feared retrace which clobbers the drawdown, normally when a trend is complete I exit, but in order to build a big position, I think I have to stay in. I haven't yet figured out how to maintain the equilibrium of the drawdown number....

Perhaps someone will point me in that direction.

Interesting post especialy this
"we where all trading differently, one would go long the other short on the same pair and in the end according of the way each managed the trade we both made money.....so there is no such thing ....right or wrong...."

Which is exactly what this thread has stated from outset.

I hope this thread is quiet because everyone is making money. I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the eurgbp and usdjpy from the samir indi. I will post it here. I've just been trading the eight pairs. Thanks!
