{quote} I was seeing too many trades not hitting my TP levels so I took time off from trading and spent a long time testing strategies. I came to a conclusion on the higher time frames for the pairs I was testing that I was expecting too much and the greed glands were in overdrive. The results showed that when the trades triggered, 85 pips was hit on a consistent basis so that's what I went with for TP1 for 50% of the trade. About 50% of the trades died at that point and then 180 became TP2 for 25%. For TP3, this is left open at 1,000 pips and managed...

Master,

Thanks for your reply and your test work.

I will do a test to find a style of myself too.

"place it and leave it“ said good. I always want to check the chart and see my trade. That often affects my judgement and emotions.

Thanks more again.

Hi Britpip7,

As for USDJPY and EURUSD, as I was looking at the day charts, I am looking at a buy and sell respectively. I have observed several key rules but would like to hear if I am seeing something wrongly.

I hope to improve on my trading eye because my losses are deep and want to fine tune my mistakes and errors.

Hello Britpip7 ,
Is EUR / AUD good for a buy ?

APB/HA closes and changes colour
PA moves with some strength, ATR1= 0.01069 > ATR7 = 0.009367
the candle body needs to be strong - larger body than wicks
TDI cross within the last 1 or 2 candles and moving up from the 32 region
next resistance ~ 150 pips

For those of you that are interested in Cave Manager, I am attaching the settings that I use. My settings are based on three profit settings. TP1 is for 50% at 85pips, TP2 is for 25% at 180 and TP# is for 25% and is set to 1,000 and is usually closed out by the trailing stop this means that your trading volume must be divisible by 4 {file} {file}

Hi Guys,

Can you please explain to me why I can't get the cavemanager to work?
When I want to attach it to a chart it loads in expert and then it's getting removed.
When I look into navigator it has a small grey circle in it, normally it has to be a small yellow circle.
Thank you and good luck.

Which folder you put the cavemanager?

should be like this C:\Users\461344\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\DD4C4615DE78766B65C3FED25C7AF262\MQL4\Experts??

it is EA, not an indicator.

I always follow the Weekly until it makes a fool of me. I still favour short but will wait till London Open on Monday

In general, EUR seems to be selling off at present.

Hi, sir

Thanks for your reply.

How you follow the weekly? Follow the pre week candle? or overall trend?
